I want to use I talkbb company as my security home provider. when I talk to them about the services and argee to useit as my security provider but have to help me set up and teach me how to use it and connect with my phone .then,they mail to me the equipment and promise me help me set up by phone .they just call me twice before I receive the equipment .after I received the equipment they never call me for follow up.I've been waiting for them call me back for set up and they didn't .so I found another security company as my home security provider .so I called yesterday for I talkbb about to cancel the services ,because they never helped me set up and the equipment I never open it and connect it to use.so they said they won't do it ,because after one month policy .the problem is I never use it and they didn't follow up when I received the equipment for help me set up. that's means the services never happened. they just want to charge me the money. that's wrong .because this services has never been set up and never been used and also they didn't follow up for services as they promised help me set up by the phone.Business response

my friend was trying to cancel TV service from this company last September when he moved to overseas, but the customer service said since there are no equipment needs to be returned(he has used this TV box for 8 years, it was too old), he can give this TV box to his friend because he already paid for the full year service. My friend gave this TV box to me and changed to my name. the company has charged me $9.99/month although I have never used it. I have called this company to cancel the service once I realize I was paying every month, but I was told I supposed to return the phone box(they said the TV service comes with a phone service ), otherwise, they are charging me $59.99. I could not return the phone box because I have never seen it.Business response

When **. ******************** the former owner of the service account, called iTalkBB asking to cancel the home phone and Chinese TV services in September 2021, he accepted our save promotion package and decided to transfer the service account to his friend, the current account owner, *******************. Although our service agent told ************** that he should handover all the equipment including the home phone device to ****************, **************** insists that she did not receive the home phone device, nor received any notification from iTalkBB a list of the equipment that should be transferred. **************** insists that in case iTalkBB should charge ************** instead, and is still asking for refund.
As part of the save promotion to this account, iTalkBB has refunded $20 to **. ******* credit card account. ************** has permanently left US and there is no way to get the home phone device back or charge his credit card for the missing device, we agreed to refund $39.99 to ****************.Initial Complaint

I terminated my contract with this business on 1/5/2022 and paid them the early termination fee of $99, as well as the promotional benefits that I received, totaling to about $193. I also returned them the equipment on time. However, they still keep my account open even if I called them several times requesting to remove my credit card information. They once asked me to contact my card issuer to remove my card from my Italkbb account, which is apparently not doable. Now my credit card is still listed in my online account which should have been closed at the time of my account closure. Im just worried about the security risk involved as I no longer have any business with them. Please help. Thanks!Business response

About two months ago this company called me and tell me that they have a new plan for me and that cost me about $10 less a month. In fact, this plan only cost me $10 less on first month, on the second month they charge me much more then before, they never told me this from the phone! So I decide to cancel this service but they charged $107 penalty for early determination fee. What a trash company.Business response

At the time the customer called iTalkBB service department for cancelling her iTalkBB home phone and Chinese TV service, our service agent provided the best offer and the customer agreed (5/26/2021). On 6/22/2021, the customer called in and denied the payment amount and overthrew what she agreed and insisted to cancel all the services. On 7/6/2021, iTalkBB received chargeback notice form the bank that the customer disputed this charge.
