In October 2021 I phoned the Log Doctor asking if they made repairs to fireplace gas logs. They replied that they did and asked if I would like to make an appointment for a service technician to come to our home. We agreed on the date of October 22, 2021. On October 22, 2021 the technician, a young man named Tyler, arrived as promised. He proceeded to diagnose the problem as the need to replace the remote receiver. He indicated that one would have to be ordered and that it would take approximately a week to come in. He charged $****** which he said would cover not only this service call but the next one to replace the remote receiver. All I would owe for the 2nd visit would be the cost of the part. He departed and we heard nothing from him or the Log Doctor for several weeks. I called and left voice and text messages repeatedly. My calls were not returned. Finally, Sherry, from the Log Doctor returned my call and an appointment was made. Tyler did arrive between 6:30 & 7PM. Only to inform me that the part had been left on another truck. He came again on Dec. 8, 2021 to inform me that the wrong part had been ordered. He promised me that he would order the correct part personally and be in touch shortly. I have heard nothing since his last visit on Dec. 8, 2021 I feel I have been extremely patient with this company and they have not delivered on the promised repair. I think it only fair that they refund the $******
