Date of transaction 12/2/2022 via ******** *********** and ******.Total: $25 Item, a horse cooler blanket, was described as like new with no holes or tears. It arrived with a ripped strap and a hole in it. Logo was slightly faded as well. Seller offered for me to return the item AT MY COST and she would refund the original price of the item less shipping. Why should I be out for shipping both ways when I was not the one who incorrectly described the item and sent an item that had a hole and torn strap. I request a full refund of the $25 AND a refund of the return shipping costs for which I can provide a receipt once it is shipped. THANK YOU. Seller seems to have now blocked me on ******** messenger....Business response

This item was never listed on ***********. Our company is a 501c3 non profit and we are a horse rescue. The money for this item is a donation to our rescue. Also - the item did not have alleged defects when it was here and there was a photo showing the item and its condition. I believe item was damaged either in shipping or upon opening (I think the latter is the two). Regardless, if she doesnt want the item I offered to return her $15 donation if I could get them item back. She did not want to return the item because she would have to ship it. I offered to meet her when I came that way again. She lives about 2.5 hours from me but I am down that way once every two months or so. As I explained to her before, I dont mind refunding a donation, but the item does need to be returned. Im going out of my way to refund a donation for an item that was in good shape when it left here.********** ********* ******* ********* ***** *************************** *************************** ***** **** *** ** **** ** **** ** ******** ********* ********* *** *********************************** **** ********************************I accidentally hit send before attaching this text message. This is from ***** who filed the complaint about the blanket that she damaged. I am rejecting this response because:FIRST AND FOREMOST I do not appreciate being accused of damaging the blanket after I got it. That is completely false and very upsetting to me that this allegation was even made. It was pulled out of the shipping box the way it currently is right now with holes and a torn strap, and I notified her right away of the issues and sent photos. I will be happy to meet with the seller to return the item when she comes down to *******. I just hope I don't have to wait forever to be able to do that. I don't have room to store an item I cannot use due to the condition it was sent to me in. I might add this was to have been a cherished Christmas gift for me from my mother. I was going to use it as a decorative bedcovering since that horse show holds a special place in my heart.
WHAT I WOULD REQUEST TO RESOLVE THIS: I would like to be given a CONCRETE/FIRM date that she will meet me to do this return. Please have her give me a date she can meet me to do the return. I do appreciate the fact that she is willing to do that, but until I have a date, I don't know if it will actually happen.
I also want to add I will still be out the money it cost me to have it originally shipped to me. So I will still be taking a LOSS of money on this transaction, which is not really fair but.....
