I visited Active Chiropractic on August 9, 2021. I paid $*** out of pocket, because I thought my insurance wouldn't cover the visit. After the visit, I found out that my insurance will cover the charge, so I called Active Chiropractic twice in September to ask them to submit the bill to my insurance company so I could get reimbursed. Both times, the office manager, Laura, told me she would submit it, but she never did. I then tried to call the office in early November approximately 8 times, but there was no answer. I finally reached out to them on November 16, 2021, via ******** Messenger and someone responded. I explained that I asked Laura to submit the bill and that she never did. I was told it would get done. Active Chiropractic finally submitted the bill on or around November 19, 2021. I called my insurance company to check if I was going to be reimbursed and I was told that Active Chiropractic submitted the bill too late. The service rep for the insurance company kept me on the phone while she called Active Chiropractic to inquire as to why they submitted the bill so late and when she came back on the line with me, she told me she spoke with Laura, the office manager, who was very rude to her and told her that I would not get my money back. This is despite the fact that Laura failed to submit the bill to the insurance company on time, which is unprofessional and unacceptable. I would like to receive a full refund for the payment I made to Active Chiropractic. Below is my credit card statement showing I paid them $*** as well as screen shots of the ******** Messenger messages between me and an employee of Active Chiropractic.Business response
