              Ax Tree Services butchered my 100 year-old elm tree. An arborist who inspected the damage said it was the worst work he’d seen in his 24 year career, he couldn’t believe Ax was licensed, and the tree may die as a result. My neighbor hired Ax to cut the branches from my tree that overhung his yard. Ax did the work without my permission. They cut over my property line, and hacked off so many large, thick branches that the tree may not survive. They didn’t cut the branches close to the trunk of the tree, as any competent tree surgeon would. They also left a limb cut down the middle, exposing it to rot. It’s going to cost me $900 just to have the cuts redone properly, but even then, Ax may have killed my tree. Ax also broke my fence when they dropped one of the branches by accident. I asked them repeatedly to fix it, and they never did. These people are clowns. Do NOT hire, unless you want them to kill your tree.
