Made contact online 6/12/23 reference summer camp that was advertised w/free martial arts uniform ($80 value). They texted *************** inquired about **************** of the Camp. Coach ***** called explaining the camp/location & reiterating the special for camp that advertised and told me there was a$50 app fee. I agreed to tour the location 6/15 at 6:15pm. ******* husband was met by Coach ****** (Director) who stated app fee was $30 and a tshirt was needed for all outside trips for $20, martial arts uniform included. I told her Coach ***** stated on the phone the app fee was $50 and she said that was not correct. She also stated payment comes out every Friday in advance for camp. On Friday (6/17), I was charged $238.06 ($187 1wk camp, $30 app fee, $20 tshirt). On Mon, 6/19 I was charged again $187. On Tues, I called & received a text message asking how they could help me. I explained the overcharge and the breakdown of what I was paying for. I had someone immediately call me back & refunded me the $187. On 6/27, left a message at the front desk requesting someone to contact reference my daughters ****** and uniform that hasnt received. I received a call from Coach ***** again in which this time she denied me seeing any type of promotion online reference a free *********** must was inquiring about the after school program. I told her that was not the conversation we had because I specifically inquire about camp. I told her Im not looking for anything but only wanted to be treated fairly, she then proceeds to tell me she can Take my ****************** it up in the trash. & if wanted my daughter to have the uniform I must pay $80. I requested to speak with the owner of the business because I did not deserved to be talked to in that manner. Coach **** (Owner) called agreed there was a promo I seen and would take care of the free uniform. My daughter received the uniform by 7/3. But yet to wear it on Tuesdays or Thursdays when martial arts is incorporated in the camp. My daughter comes home & tells me thats she did not wear her uniform for martial arts but others were dressed in uniform. When I called to inquire, Coach ***** calls ****** requested to have Coach ****** to call me back. She then proceeds to relay that Coach ****** states the some kids were finished sooner *************** didnt have time to change clothes. So when my husband goes to pick her up Friday 7/14, They tells him they cannot find her uniform. (Each child suppose to have their own cubby with name written on it) so my husband calls me and puts me on speaker so that I am talking with Coach ******. She tells me that she will check with other parents & if not found by ****, they will give her another one. At 725pm, I get a text message from the owner canceling our membership effectively immediately. I called the number with no answer. On Saturday 7/15, Received the same message at ****am. I called Monday 7/17, at 715am left a message with Coach ***** for **** to call me. Its 7/21, still no response and they still owes me the original uniform and T-shirt or my money back that I never received. This business has displayed poor communication and management and feel as a parent I am not *********** ask questions or raise concern. Please see attachments.
