      Complaint Against Five Star Bath Solutions for Non-Fulfillment of Service Agreement and Refund Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to lodge a complaint against Five Star Bath Solutions. On May 5, 2023, I entered into a contract with them for a bathroom remodeling project, as per Sales Agreement #*******. At the onset of the agreement, I made an upfront payment of $2000 with the understanding that the work would be completed within a period of 45 days. Despite the passing of this period, the work has not yet commenced, and my project remains unscheduled. My numerous attempts to contact Bath Solutions and discuss the matter have been met with unresponsiveness. Regrettably, in some instances, my calls were abruptly terminated without any resolution or explanation. Owing to the lack of action and communication from their end, I made the decision to cancel the work order and requested a refund of my down payment. Unfortunately, I am yet to receive a response regarding the cancellation or the refund process. I am submitting this complaint to seek your assistance in resolving this issue. I believe I have been unfairly treated and my rights as a consumer have been violated. Any help in retrieving my refund from Bath Solutions would be greatly appreciated. Attached to this message are copies of the sales agreement, proof of payment, and any relevant correspondence for your reference. Thank you for your time and assistance.       In December 2022, we met with and agreed to have Five Star Bath Solutions of Northern Virginia install a walk-in shower in our bathroom. On December 5, 2022 Bath Solutions of Northern Virginia received a check for $1000 as a deposit. That check was cashed on December 19, 2022. At the time of the deposit, we were assured that work would begin no later than the middle of February 2023.It is nearing the end of March 2023 and we have not heard from Five Star Bath Solutions of Northern Virginia since December 5, 2022. We have attempted on multiple occasions to contact the office via email, text message, and telephone. No one returns our efforts at contact.

      4.23.22: I signed the attached sale contract for a bathroom remodel with Five Star Bath Solutions of Northern Virginia (owner: Clayton G******) and provided the requested 50% down payment ($4673.50). The job was scheduled to be completed the week of 6.27.22. From this point, I only heard from Clayton if I requested an update. And each time I did so, the job was delayed for a different reason/excuse. 7.27.22: I texted Clayton to confirm install on 8.1 & 2. Clayton informed me that my materials were on their way, but that he could demo my bathroom and then finish once the materials arrived. I told him I was not comfortable with this and wanted him to only demo once he had the materials in hand. He did not respond. 8.1.22: I texted Clayton to request another update. He began to pressure me to allow him to demo my bathroom before materials arrived, and wouldn't schedule the install for later in the week. I asked for a refund of my down payment at this time. He did not respond, so I called the online Northern VA number and spoke with Anum to request a refund. She said she could only make a note of my request. 8.2.22: Clayton texted to inform me of a 25% fee for cancellations. I sent him the contract and noted that there was no cancellation fee listed, and we were over a month past the completion date. He said I was correct, but that he was trying to cover materials. I asked for a proof of purchase and materials cost, which he never sent. I called the online number again to express my concern and asked again for a corporate number. Anum made another note. 8.3.22 & 8.4.22 I called the Central MD number to try and get a corporate contact. I talked to Kia and Gail who sent emails to corporate. They also noted that the Purcellville office (Clayton's Office) deleted my request from the que. 8.5.22 After not hearing back from anyone, I called back and got Anum. At this point I learned all of the numbers route to the same place. I have not received a refund or heard back.
