Purchased a 2013 Infiniti JX35 on 9/9/2021 at Harvey’s Chevrolet and was given a warranty. 12/13/2023 the car died. I had it towed to Harvey’s. On January 17th 2024 Harvey’s submitted a request to release the car to ******** ******** . Roanoke and then stepped away. I have contacted ********* and ******* regarding the warranty coverage and was advised that it’s Harvey’s responsibility because they are the selling dealer and they sublet the work. I cannot get my car back from Infiniti and continue making the $550 monthly payment.Business response

Customers vehicle was purchased with 91,126 miles on it. She purchased a ******* ***** ******** which expired due to mileage. She purchased a 3 yr 30k mile service contract but her vehicle now has 144k on being 23k miles over the warranty. Customer stated she wasn't going to pay for the repair that is needed to get this vehicle running in order to properly diagnose if it needs a new engine or not. Customer has a liability to pay for any repairs that are not covered under any warranties. Customer refused to pay any part. So vehicle is still on the lot and has not been diagnosed or repaired.Initial Complaint

Harvey’s Chevrolet completely overlooked my concerns and denied any kind of responsibility for the damages they inflicted on my vehicle on 03/04/2022. I went in for an oil change but left out the parking lot with 5 lights on that never showed up until Harvey’s worked on it but I can’t afford the monthly payment/services all together if they aren’t helping!Business response

In response to this complaint we want to make it clear that we did not sell this vehicle to this customer. His vehicle was here only one time ever and the only service we completed was a routine oil change. Our service manager spoke with Mr. **** after he sent in an internet lead requesting us to pay his car payment almost 10 days after we had done the oil change. We would be glad to check his vehicle for the issues he says he is having. We have spoken to Mr. **** and told him that as well. I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They won’t accept responsibility for their actions regarding my vehicle even tho I have time and time again provided proof as too they destroying it.
