I paid a $500 deposit on 07/12/2024 to this company after someone came out to my house to inspect for bats. Since then, Ive only been able to get the owner on the phone 1 time. He called me on a Saturday at 10:30pm on August 17, 2024. The owner was clear under the influence and was asking incredibly invasive questions about my employment and did not set up concrete plans to begin work. No one has come to the house. Before I paid the deposit, he stated on August 1, 2024 (1 month after the bats were found in attic) they would set up a one way door. No one from the company has been to the house. I have been attempting to call the company for a refund and have heard nothing.Business response

Mid-October, I contacted ASAP Wildlife Control & Removal to remove a family of snakes that were living in my backyard. Two technicians came and set traps and said they'd be back in a few days to check the traps for snakes. When they returned, I saw the traps that they set which were "sticky pads" similar to (but larger) glue traps for mice. There were no snakes on the glue traps. They picked the traps up and told me to call if the snakes came back and they'd "come back and grab them". The very next day the snakes were there, I texted the technician and he said they would try to come and "grab them". He never returned. I received a bill for $*** for "Snake Inspection". My original phone conversation with the owner was for snake removal and their website guarantees ***% satisfaction guaranteed. I've called and emailed repeatedly asking to discuss the bill and the owner will not return any of my calls or emails.Business response

I contacted Dan of Asap snake removal Saturday 10/16/21 at 2pm regarding a large 4 1/2 foot black snake that had appeared in my backyard and patio area that I wished to have removed. I sent videos and pictures of the snake sighting. I was advised that he understood what was going on and could help out. He said he would try and come later that day. He was unable to come after all and set up a time for 9 am 10/17/21. He arrived with a helper around 9:30am and they were unable to find the snake. They told me they were leaving 4 traps, yet they only left two yellow cardboard box traps and indicated that they would come back and check the traps no later than Tuesday 10/19 and place repellant in the appropriate areas.. I also discussed that since I had three dogs I would need a text or advance notice of their arrival in order to make sure dogs were out of the yard. I paid them by check $*** on 10/17 even though I had been initially told an $*** estimate for this services with promises of complete services as per the above No one ever showed up/followed up. After several more calls and texts I was finally told they would come out and check the traps and place repellant in the appropriate areas later that week. Again no one showed up to perform services/check traps etc. On 10/28 I contacted Dan again to inquire. He agreed to refund me the $***. I offered that he could Venmo the amount. He said he preferred to send via Certified mail which he " would hand deliver" I indicated I was unsure how he would hand deliver Certified mail. I also offered to return the two yellow card board box "traps" to his place of business or leave them by my back gate. I again offered that he ***** the amount or simply mail the refund via USPS. I texted him my full name and address and received no response. I simply want a refund. He was at my home for no longer than 15 minutes, did not retrieve the snake, did not follow up with traps, and did not place repellant. Thank youBusiness response
