We had six rugs cleaned and ordered new pads for all of them. They were to be delivered on Jan 3 but because of the storm the date was changed to Jan 4. When they weren't delivered I called and the date was changed to today, January 6. We are moving out of Richmond tomorrow Jan 7. When I called to see where the rugs were I got a recording saying the company was not available. We have paid the $***** bill in full. Now we have to move with no rugs or pads and our $***** is gone.Business response

The Hadeed Mercer Carpet Cleaning was negatively impacted by the weather and ultimately the historic collapse of the Rt. 95 Interstate Hwy for two business days on January 5 and 6, 2022. We were successful the next business day delivering the rugs. We apologize as these events do disrupt all businesses particularly small businesses.

I reached out to Hadeed Mercer on 9/9 to have 2 area rugs cleaned. The rugs were picked up on 9/13 and returned 9/30. One of the rugs wasn't cleaned at all, full of dog hair and dirt. The second rug was damaged. I called Hadeed Mercer and the rugs were picked up on 10/3. After several unreturned messages asking for an update on the rugs (and finally told they were in quality control), they were returned on 10/26. The rug that was repaired was again damaged in another area. I called Hadeed Mercer on 10/26 and told them about the damage and requested my money be returned. I was told one of their "directors" would be calling me back. I haven't heard from anyone and now when I call both the Richmond and Springfield VA offices no one answers, I have left messages on both numbers with no response. I have had to make myself available 4 times for pickup and delivery of my rugs and at this point I just want my money back as I will need to purchase a new rug.Business response

Thank you for the opportunity to continue to work on your concerns for a resolution! The rug in question has been picked up 10/28/21, to remedy your serge area concerns and yesterday, 11/2/21, you were contacted by quality control to go over the details of your concerns. At the end of that call, the inspector called a supervisor and authorized the repair of your rug! Today 11/3/21, your rug is in repair and we anticipate it to be a speedy turn around where you will have it back in your home good as new!With regards to your previous concerns on cleaning, we picked them up 10/5/21 and they were recleaned 10/8/21 and then returned to you.
