Went for pedicure with a friend on Friday 9-2. I told the girl working on my nails that I had already cut the nail on one of my big toes because it had been ingrown and sensitive. She finished painting my toenails and took me to the dryer. She returned and realized both big toes were messed up and sent me back to repaint. Again I went to the dryer and after being there for a few minutes I looked down and saw they were messed up again. The girl was flustered and wanted to paint them again...at this point I told her that we should try to figure out why this was happening (this has never ever happened to me before). I took the plastic sandals off & realized the toe separators they used were twisted. So this was the reason. She proceeded to paint them once more @ the dryer, no seal coat. By this time I realize it looks like she hasn't even trimmed my toenails and the paint job was terrible. She says it was because my nails were hard and I had told her they were sensitive (actually in a rude and argumentative tone.) I asked for the owner and apparently she was at a funeral and wouldn't be back until Sunday. I called Sunday and recognized the same woman answered the phone and told me the owner was not there and to try again Monday. I called Monday and was told she was still not there. In the meantime I had an event planned for that evening and decided to go to another nail salon and have my nails fixed....$50 dollars later the woman did a great job. I called Regal again on Tuesday and spoke to the owner, ****. She said I should have come back to have my nails fixed and refused to give me my money back....so disappointing since I have essentially now paid for two pedicures. After telling her how disappointed I am she agreed to give me a pedicure later without charge. At this point I don't want to go back to the nail salon!
