orrendous service and very racism . I brung my car there to get oil change and they messed up the whole cover of transmission at the bottom. The piece of metal to secure the cover was loose and hit the ground also pound back to the transmission making noise like someone hit the car with hammer. I had called the place to told them the problem right after I heard the noise on highway 295. The guys at front desk told me he had someone to take a looked at the car so even though the car making noise on 295 but I still have to run back to the shop ( 10 minutes running with the emergency light on and that freaking noise) was really freak me out. When I backed at the shop and all I got was not their false because they didnt touch the cover of the transmission but somehow the cover was loose and that secure metal fail on the ground. All they said was not their responsibility to get me a new cover for the transmission so who falls in this case? My *** was running normal until its got service at Seredni Tire & Auto center. The shops was and still continued to report them to BBB for this poor performance of the shop to solve the problem they did.so disappointed at this point so I will file a complaint after the review. I also have the video I also recorded when I heard the noise on the highways and hopefully that would help me fight in this case.

Customer did call us about an hour after he picked up his car and said his car was making a noise. I Told the customer to bring it back ASAP. We Put the car up on the lift and it looked like something hit the Transmission cover and bent the metal hole that it was connected to. The Customer told one of the guys in the shop that he was on a construction site and hit something. We did nothing wrong when we did the oil change and everything looked okay when it was here the first time. Seredni Tire does not take any responsibility for the customer hitting something after the work was done.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Its not the first time I got the oil change service there. Horrible services was the words I could use with the last time I got the services. The oil bolt was leaking oil, the transmission cover was mess up with unknown reason after my car got service there. They change oil but not making the oil reset on the car computers and not making marked the day back for service. Totally I dont agree the fact that return customer would have been treated like this is my fault to make my car the way it is right now missing transmission cover, leaking oil and broken metals securely the cover as well. I got oil change couple time before and no problem but this time I saw the leaking oil when they try to put the car back on the Lyft to see the actual issue and the mechanic guys tried to came up and fix the issue with the wrench. Im speechless at this point when I saw the issues with the oil leaking and they try to cleanse the grease still in the transmission bolt . Who will pay for your guys mistake to my car to the damage right now ?

      Regards,

I was a faithful customer bringing my vehicle for inspections and oil changes and to purchase tires. However, they changed my oil two weeks ago and "did not fully replace the oil plug ."As a result, my engine was damaged. Two reputable companies diagnosed the damage, and Serenity was identified liable by GMC corporate, **************, and Chevrolet on *****************************. GMC corporate suggested I seek legal action since I had to pay $8,600 to repair my vehicle. Unfortunately, as of today, I have yet to be reimbursed for the damages. Even though I supplied all the diagnostic reports and GMC corporate information to resolve the matter, they have yet to respond shockingly.

      To Whom it May ********************* style="margin: 0px;">

**************** had his vehicle serviced on 08/04/2022 for a ******** Vehicle State Inspection and an oil change. *** mileage on the vehicle was ****** miles. *** work was performed and the customer picked up the vehicle and left.

On 09/28 at ****** miles the vehicle was returned to the shop with the concern that it would not run.  *** vehicle was brought in to inspect the problem. It was quickly determined the engine had seized. Upon further inspection we found no oil on the dipstick. We lifted the vehicle to inspect for oil leaks. We found the underside of the car to be covered in engine oil but the only clear evidence of an oil leak was found at the oil pan where the drain plug is installed. We found the drain plug (see attached picture, this was taken upon immediate inspection) to still be fully installed in the oil pan but the head had mostly separated from the body of the plug. It was barely hanging on. (Also attached for consideration is a picture of a complete drain plug). *** oil drain plug head and drain plug seal are used to securely mate to the oil drain pan to maintain a tight seal and prevent oil leaks through the hole. While we can offer speculation and ideas as to what happened to the plug between 08/04/2022 and 09/28/2022, unfortunately it is impossible to definitively explain what caused the drain plug to break in the manner it did. With that being said, the only undisputable statement that can be made is that this was not the condition of the drain plug when it left the shop on 08/04/2022. Upon completion of our inspection and diagnosis, we informed **************** that the drain plug had broken from the body of the plug. Without a secure mating surface to the oil pan (the head and oil seal gasket) oil would continuously drip from the pan. We discussed with him that nothing we found showed the failure was caused by our oil change and was not something we would be responsible for. We expressed to **************** that the failure is unfortunate and sympathize with his situation. We have since continued to be in contact with **************** and even a call with GM Corporate in hopes to help him better understand the failure.

Had my son bring my car in for state inspection on 8/9/22 at the Mechanicsville location around 11am and my son received a call back around 4pm stating that it has been rejected for the front wheel bearings and that it's ready for pick up since we have opted not to get it replaced there. When we arrive to pick up the car, they would not release the car to us, stating that the mechanic had to leave early and that we had to wait till the next day because the release papers were not signed. I have instructed my son to pick up the car first thing the next morning (8/10/22) about 8am and he was charged 80$ (20$ for state inspection + 60$ for checking the wheel bearings). I am filing a complaint for the additional 60$ that was charged because I was under the impression that checking the wheel bearings is part of the state inspection which was validated by the guy at their front desk name *****.

On 4/25 my operable 2006 armada was dropped off . Elected for transmission rebuild with a pickup date of 5/9. On 5/8 called to ensure ready was told part delay said would be ready 5/13. On 5/12 was told not ready would be ready on 5/20. I said do not work on my car unless you assure me it will be ready 5/20. ****** falsely imitated a service technician, and said all parts are in and even if my guys have to work overtime it will be ready. This statement by ****** was repeated times three. On 5/19 Share said only ****** could tell if car was ready, ****** could not be reached. ******* the only manager of multiple locations- west broad street agreed this was rediculous, and said even if I have to go over there I will, I promise to call you back by 4:30. No call back. So I called, he said he tried to reach owners and ****** without result. I asked to pick my car up as is due to threatening vocal tone of Share. Share very loudly with ******* present stated I could not take my car off of lot without paying. I asked to pay she would not allow, she would allow me to get car towed to my residence. This is fraudulent, I have been lied to and without a vehicle for 23 days. I said do not work on my car unless you guarantee it will be ready on 5/20.

On 4/25/22 a 2006 ****** Armada was dropped off at our location from a *********************. When we looked at it and diagnosed it needing a transmission, ****** contacted ************ we discussed what needed to be done and that the cost of what needed to be done was more than the vehicle was worth. There were no available transmissions from our suppliers that were 2wd only 4wd through suppliers. So the only other option was to rebuild it and ************ said go ahead. ****** said to him that it was going to take some time to do it from getting the parts to rebuilding it and putting it back in the car. ****** had been handling this with ************ from the beginning. On 5/19/22 I (****) received a phone call from a ************************* about the Armada saying that, that was her vehicle and didn't know what was going on I told her that I wasn't the one handling the ticket and that I would have ****** contact her when he get here the next day.  ******* proceeded to tell me she would hold for me to call him and I (****) said that no maam I would have him call you when he is here. ******* call my ********** location to tell them what Is going on and they have nothing to with goes on at my location and they never said that they would do they work over there and for cheaper. She continued to call me multiple times that day after I had said that I would have ****** call her because I wasn't aware of what was going on with the ticket. I never had a threatening vocal tone I raised my voice because of having to repeat myself multiple times and her not wanting to understand. She stated that she was going to come get her vehicle and there would be no charge, I (****) said the vehicle is not leaving my lot with out payment because of work that has been done to it already. From the beginning ****** had communication with ************ her boyfriend. We were not aware of ************** till she called saying that was her car. There was a communication issue with ************ and ************** about what was going on with vehicle and what was being done to it.
