      This place is a joke now. I went in yesterday and the employees were on their cell phones as if they were more important than helping me. The guy Que has a bad odor problem and had an attitude, management can’t know how he smell. They lack knowledge or maybe they just lazy, I hope they close this location, or cooperate can’t know how this store location is being ran. Such a disgrace to the advance name. I’ll never visit this location again and I will definitely tell my community as well as my fellow car enthusiasts.

      Went to Advance Auto on 09 June 24 on **** ******* ********** ** ***** with an issue with my car battery which was still under warrantee. I explained to them that we had to jump the battery and that I had it on a charger that gave me a fault. They hooked it up to their worthless diagnostic and said then battery was good and they wouldn't warrantee it. After losing my cool, I took it a **********. They did a proper diagnostic and found the battery had a bad cell. I paid around $250 for the battery at advance auto which was still on warrantee and had to buy another one from a **********, again having to spend another $250 to replace a battery from Advance Auto that was less than a year old. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY AUTO BATTERIES from Advance Auto. They have no clue or honor

      Auto Battery bought here on 3/16/24. 5/30/24 Auto Battery dead. Towed car to ******* *********. ******* diagnosed problem with bad battery with minimal charge. 6/13/24 Manager at Advance Auto Parts/ *** ****** ** would not replace my battery. No refund. 6/14/24 Owner of store called me,stated “ you know how auto dealers are”. Our company policy is to not replace auto battery if there is still a charge on them”. I had to buy another battery- went to *******. I have had no further problems. Poor customer service and no motivation to assist with customer complaints at this store. Do not buy a car battery from this store.

      We bought a car battery not even a year ago. It died. We took it back to the SAME advance store, they tested it, and even their test equipment said it was dead and recommended replacement. The batter wasn't even a year old. After all was said and done, they told us we owed 20 some dollars since the price of the battery had increased that much since we bought the last one. Sorry, but FREE REPLACEMENT should be FREE, no matter if the cost went up or not! If it had dropped in price I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten that difference back! This happened in *********** **. Had another experience at a different location. Between these two bad experiences, I will NOT be going to another advance auto parts store unless I have no choice ( which is no real choice).

      I purchased 2 alternators from the advance auto parts in ************ **  and both were garbage so I called them to ask them about my warranty which is only 10 months old and they said my warranty has expired and I have my receipt stating such"" a very very crooked buisness I would suggest to never ever buy anything from any advance auto parts in ************ **

      Placed an order o line last week with my bank debit card. Had to return because they always say something is in stocks and it never is. They said the money would go back to my card in 3 to 5 business days. It's been 6 now and I call customer support and they say the system messed up and issued me a virtual gift card and the only thing they can do is cancel it and issue me a check. I will have to pay to cash the check because it's not free. I want my money returned to my card like it was supposed to be and I was told. You cannot take someone's money and not return it to where it came from especially if it's not the payment type you received.

      Just Stay away if you order online and need to do a return. They only return to original payment and will not give store credit even when you tell them the card does not exist anymore you bought this on due to being hacked. Now I have 50.00 in limbo somewhere but needed new headlights that were only 6 months old. What a joke!!!!!!!!

      Around my area there are many retailers from which to purchase auto parts. For my past 3-4 purchases (batteries and air filters) I've used AAP and have had good experiences with parts availability and their customer service. However, I'm beginning to believe that AAP rebate offerings are a big sham. I submitted a form on Dec. 13, 2023 for a K&N air filter purchase rebate that purportedly would take 6-8 weeks to receive - today is April 4, 2024 and no rebate. I've sent two email inquiries (Feb. 27 and Mar. 28) and their replies have been the same "throw-down" word-for-word response that my rebate is being processed. According to "Track A Rebate" on the AAP website, my rebate payment was processed on Feb. 5. Bottom line, I don't fault their local store in any way but I refuse to do business with a dishonest retailer.

      After receiving the wrong air filter for my car, I attempted a simple return. Lemont was very polite and apologetic. After entering the item in the register, he required a code from the Store Mgr. Stacy. She was on the phone and refused to put the party on hold or write it down to proceed. After approx. 13 min I said could you please put that party on hold or write down the code so I can get to my appointment. Stacy ignored my plead and after another 4min walked up to the register and said that the Client on her call spends thousands of dollars at this store and is far more important then my DYI project! And that I should leave right now and go to another store. I said please provide the code for this return (it was the store error and I have my receipt) she said no, please leave now and go to another store. All stores are open to the public for DYI projects and NO person should endure this unprofessional behavior. I would NEVER have someone with this mindset represent my store and obviously not qualified to work with the general public.

      I bought rotors and pads for a brake change. I paid for everything at ***** store, but had to pick up the rotors from the ****** **** location down the road. I used the pads, but the rotors did not need changing on my car. I tried to return the unopened rotors to the ***** store on ** ******* where I paid. The associate told me I had to return them where I picked them up, as it was their stock. So I tried to return them at the ****** **** location. When I got there at the ****** **** location, the associate in the leather jacket with a constant toothpick in his mouth told me they could not take returns that were more than $100 value without manager approval, even unopened with a receipt (which I had). He stated I could only bring them when the manager was there, and they were only there from opening until 2pm. I asked how long do I have to return the rotors, he stated" its up to the manager". I said I work during those hours. He said "that sucks". So I left. I called the manager of the ****** **** store and verified what leather coat told me, and yes, the manager does not trust his employees to take returns. And he got off at 2, but the other manager "should" be there. I then reviewed the return policy the website and confirmed you can return a part to "any" location with the receipt and do not need manager approval. Also, the website stated there is a 45 day return policy, not manager discretion. I won't spend another dime at any advance Auto parts store again. In truthful employees all the way around up to the management level. No thanks.
