      On Saturday April 8th 2023 we visited the establishment in ********* Virginia only to have not our entire order filled and to be told we could not receive a refund and the food was thrown away so if they made more food we would be charged a second time. Staff was rude and inconsiderate.

      The consumer's partner placed a togo order. When she picked up the food she did not take all of her order, she left two of the boxes behind. She later called the store and told the manager she wanted a refund. The manager told her he could not give her a refund, but she could come back and get the rest of her order. She did not want to drive back. Later the consumer called and demanded a refund. When the manager told him no the consumer verbally assulted my staff. He also called one of our other locations and verbally assulted the staff at that location.

      I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Verbally assaulting? You charged for goods and services that were not provided.  Your customer service was poor.  The boxes that were on the counter were picked up, the other boxes were not picked up because they were not there.  Of course, this seems to be common place that it is the customers fault in regard to your response.  I still have not been refunded and I did not receive what was paid for.  I still expect a refund for goods not received.  Verbally assaulting is not what happened by merely asking for the goods that were paid for and being refused repeatedly.  To offer either what was ordered and PAID for.  I am not asking for anything but the return of money for services not provided.  Are there signs posted saying we won't put your whole order up at one time? Are there signs describing your policies? Are there any communications to the customer that anyone would know ahead of time?  I did not see any. I would still like my refund for goods not received.
