      On June 5, 2024 I purchased (pre paid) a Sebo K3 vacuum cleaner from Blue Ridge Vacuums in Christiansburg Va, owner of the business is Brian Davis. I was told on that date that it would take 7-10 business days, as of today (7/8/2024) I have not received the vacuum cleaner. I have repeatedly tried getting in touch with Mr Davis with no success, I was able to talk with Mrs Davis and a store employee (*****) all I have gotten is a run around. I have asked *****(employee) for a full refund and he tells me that Mr Davis is the only one that can give a customer refund. And Mr Davis is avoiding me. I finally was able to talk on the phone with Mr Davis at his Roanoke store on 06/28/2024 and he assured me that the vacuum cleaner would be at the Christiansburg store for me to pick up the week of 07/01/2024, when I stopped in on Friday 07/05/2024 the employee(*****) there at that time said it was not there, that it would be in on the following Monday 07/08/2024. We went back to the store today (07/08/2024) for my full refund of $947.69 only ***** was there once again and he tried getting in touch with Mr Davis but same deal as before always says he’s on the phone . The reasons I want a full refund is because I have been lied to over and over and I don’t trust Mr Davis to do any repairs should they arise after all this ordeal with trying to get the vacuum cleaner that I prepaid for. Any help the BBB can give me to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

      We talked with the owner on7/21/2024 and resolved the issue. We picked up the vacuum cleaner on 7/23/2024. We are happy with the outcome. Thank you BBB for your assistance in this matter. Regards, ****** ********

      I paid in advance for a central vacuum system to be installed by a company. This house had a central vacuum unit in it before, it was a foreclosure and they took the vacuum. So in talking to the salesman and the owner, The system should work with existing pipes and electric, If they had to do anything it was included in the cost they were requiring up front. I paid for the system before the end of the year, should have been a couple weeks for install. After they got the system to their store, someone sold the attachments. However, they wanted to install it without all the working parts because they had something that showed it worked. However when parts came in it, I cannot get it to work. They said they would show me a video that proved that it worked. I have not seen that, they cannot prove one of the suctions worked, because it doesn't. They want to charge me a service call, plus making this suction vacuum work. They were 2 weeks later than they told me for installation. I think I do not have all the part agreed upon, Plus half of my basement does not work, the one inlets for the suction does not work. Brian, the owner is acting like its my fault. I have to pay for this repair. It never worked. I did not have the hose, when they installed it to prove it worked. His excuse is, an employee sold my parts to someone else. As if this is my fault. The sales person that came to my house guaranteed that Brian said this system would work. They pushed me to pay in full for the product and the cost of the install before they could order it. I should of run, but they are the only vacuum place near here. I did pay, for what Brian said was the best system possible. I needed it for dog hair, not only does that inlet not work, it does not pick up dog hair. No attachment, not even the one I paid extra, WORKS. It seems like I was shorted a few attachments I saw online, ANYWAY, IT DOES NOT PICK UP DOG HAIR, HALF OF MY BASEMENT, DOES NOT WORK. OWNER BRIAN, SAYS IT IS MY FAULT. HUMM

      At the same time as wrote this complaint I also posted on some rating sites. As soon as Bryan saw this he contacted me. He did come and make the system work correctly and I am satisfied now with my system. All the outlets are working that need to be. That is all I wanted and sorry I had to go this route. Thank You. ********    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
