The business, has lied and manipulated. They will not provide invoices with a detailed list of the work that was completed. The company makes excuses why they could not start my project and delay after delay , when they failed to properly winterize my home they are refusing to pay for the damage for their negligence.

      Hello,

We were hired by the ******* to do construction work after fire damage.  We spent a lot of time and effort to design floor plans and redo several estimates in order to meet their expectations.  This went on for several months and we have emails and texts to show the communication back and forth on progress and changes made by the *******.  We were consistently communicating and making the changes requested.  We were willing, able and ready to start work once they approved the estimate and final floor plan. The ******* decided to cancel our contract after we provided the final estimate and ordering materials etc. According to our contract (section 8, E) we are *********** 20% of the full contract amount if the homeowner decides to cancel the contract before substantial completion.  This would equate to $32,412 owed to us.  This was agreed by ************** over the phone with *******, our GM, when agreeing to cancel the contract. Then, they decided that they didnt agree to this and wanted a cost breakdown.  Attached is a cost breakdown of our cost plus OH&P on the cost that we spent.  We have an email from ************* agreeing to this.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have requested the original invoices from there subcontractor as to the work that they state was completed, and why the amount of each of the subcontractors is over the allocated amount per the budget?  They also failed to properly winterize the home correctly and has cost an additional $ to repair.  They are the ones who broke contract by not starting home.  The price estimates were for items that would not effect them starting on the home in a timely.

      Regards,

      ***********************

They have received $150,000 dollars. Have made numerous errors and this job has run way beyond any reasonable time. The building burned in Dec of 2021 and they accepted the contract estimate from ********************** I have given them twice in writing what I wanted and They are not working on building or correcting any errors. They came in March 14th put down wrong flooring in front it was suppose to be floating floor they put down a glued floor all popping up and messed up. Wrong doors on closets, they changed floor plan on me. Moved the sink in the back, almost nothing installed no heat pump, no toilets ,sinks, no exhaust fans. Electrical not done, flooring ,window trim etc. I have heard nothing from them for over two months almost no work being done. The general ****** who had the job sent me false info and fed me false info and I have all that documented and witnessed. The church that was using building is displaced and I am paying for a building that is unusable and can not be occupied. They have told *********** they are going to fix it that was two months ago. There is too much to cover here. I wrote this all out once and it glitched so sending now.
