Certified collision repair was hired by me to repair damages that occurred because of an auto accident. My car was not fully repaired. The body shop took my car to a garage I did not authorize and billed the insurance company for an all wheel alignment that was not performed. My front bumper is not repaired to pre accident condition. Certified took my car to ******** which we agreed it was to be towed to the Infinity dealership. The dealership discovered the car had not had an all wheel alignment. The wheel has been damaged. I wrote Certified collision the final check for repairs and when I found out all of this I stopped payment on the check and sent certified a certified letter outlining why. I would like to be reimbursed for the charges that were paid for the alignment that was not done.

This customer came to us asking for help because she was in an accident. We went above and beyond to try and help this person to fix her car. After the repairs were completed. She had a complaint about a steering issue. We took it to a certified mechanical shop that she was made aware of prior to moving the vehicle.Shop did find that she had a wheel bearing worn out and was NOT related to the loss. She called the insurance company and they agreed to replace the part at no cost to her since she was the claiment  in this loss, even though they did know it was not related.Shop did keep the part and I showed the part to her in person and explaind how that part had been bad for a long time and was not part of the wreck.Shop had part replaced for the insurance and the alignment was done with a print out to verify it was done. The money for the repairs was sent to mrs ***** for the repairs. She then wrote a bad check to pay for the repairs. The check amount is a felony and the police are involved to charge her with the crime committed. The shop completed the  job per the insurance company guidelines. The shop has all invoices to support the completed repairs. Not sure how you can ask for a refund on something that was never paid for due to writting a check and keeping the insurance money that was not even her money. It was funds to pay for the repair.Hopefully she  will see that the shop did everything it could and the repairs were completed The shop did everything on the estimate as billed.

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear My car was not repaired to pre accident condition. The front bumper was not painted properly. The damage to the wheel was not addressed. I found other damage to the body that was not addressed. I did not receive the service I was promised. I was not aware of my car being sent to another mechanic shop. I was told my car was gonna be towed to the infinity dealership. The check I wrote to certified i put a stop payment on it and I sent certified letter outlining the reasons why I stopped payment. Certified proceeded to file felony charges against me for the check which was done after they received the complaint and i was arrested for this. There was a repair that was charged to the insurance company that was not performed. Attached is proof of an all wheel alignment was not done. As far as the hub bearing being fixed that was the mechanic shop that certified took my car to that is the one who said it was due to the accident not me. This transaction was done from ******** to certified to ********. I feel like there was fraud committed in this case. I tried to address the issue that my car was still not fixed and certified told me he washed his hands of my car that he had done all he could do.  Regards, ******* ****
