My husband and I joined Hidden Valley Country Club on December 5, 2021. We paid for 2 years in advance as there was a savings in doing so. We made a decision in May of 2022 that we were going to move to ******* full time, which was not something we had planned. We discussed the matter in June with **** ******, who was the membership representative and our only contact with administration. There was no general manager at the time. My husband and I met with her in person and discussed the matter. We planned on ending our membership as of the end of July, 2022. We specifically asked if we would be getting a refund. **** immediately assured us that we would and it would not be a problem. We moved in early August to *******, and after we did not receive a refund I called and spoke with *** ********, who was now the general manager. He said he would look into it and call me back. He never did, and never returned the many calls I subsequently made, requesting that he contact me. I sent a certified letter on November 2, 2022 requesting the refund that was promised and that he contact me, but once again, I have not heard from anyone.
