Cook Siding installed the siding on our brand new house two years ago. Since then, numerous places have fallen off and they want us to pay them to come back out and reattach it. They do not do good work, nor do they stand by their work. A two year old house should not have these issues with siding. I definitely do not recommend.

10 years ago I hired Cook's to install all new windows, siding and gutters. I did not have a problem at that time but seems since then the business has been handed down to relatives and everything has gone down hill. I was having new floors installed a few months ago and when we moved a cabinet in the bathroom we discovered an enormous amount of water damage below the window and in the floor. Apparently it had been leaking for years and everything was rotted. The wall had to be opened and then when it started to rain it was just pouring into the house. I called Cooks and was told by Mallory that she would have Brian come take a look. This took weeks. When he came he tried to say it must be coming from a leaky boot on my roof and he would have it replaced. I asked for an estimate but he just sent someone out to replace it. That was not the problem and I contacted them again letting them know water was still coming in. If it was coming from above the wall above the window ceil would be rotten. After months they finally sent someone to fix the window. They pulled off the siding and put it back on with filthy hands. Brian and Mallory assured me I wouldn't incur and cost but then backed out and said I would need to fix the inside of my house - insulation, drywall, baseboard, paint, etc and they would "split" the bill with me. This has still not been resolved and I feel I am going to need to take this to court. People should not have to go through this. By far the worst communication in a company I have ever seen. *** **** was such a nice lady - I know they would be disappointed in how the company is being handled now.

Do not hire Cook siding and windows for any project you are wanting. We have had an absolutely miserable experience with this company. Our first experience was putting in new gutters. It took them 6 different times to come out to finish the project. Each time they indicated they were finished, they still had work that had to be completed. The salesman Tucker committed on multiple occasions that he had the correct measurements and scheduling, to find out he did not. We also hired Cook to screen in our side porch, against my better judgment and this project was far worse than the gutters. They had scheduled at least 3 times to start only to find out they could not work with our posts due to poor calculations. I spoke to Mallory, the sales manager on multiple occasions and after each conversation, she said she would call me back. She called me back once to confirm the screening installation, and once again, it was screwed up due to poor communication. I will reiterate, do not under any circumstances hire this company for work! I don’t know how a company like this stays in business! The guy they had come out to do our screens looked like a homeless man. The guys that they had do our gutters appeared to be new or have very little knowledge of gutter installation. Cook siding and windows are the worst company I have dealt with in my 58 years on this planet!

Please stay away from this company. They are not responsive communicators and did not complete the job in a timely manner (or at all). I'm posting this review due to the fact that they are still contacting me by phone to solicit payment for a job that 1. was not completed within the time stated in the contract 2. they never did install the downspout as part of the project as stated in the contract. My husband finally installed this himself after being ignored by the company for multiple weeks. After ignoring our efforts to get in touch about finishing the job, they started contacting me by phone about payment. I responded with an email stating the below facts. First, they accused us of not paying the $800 deposit which was required to finalize the contract. We have documentary evidence of the receipt as well as our bank account records Next, the contracted work was never completed. It was not until beyond the 8-12 weeks in the contract that any work was done and not until after multiple phone calls by my husband to the owner of the company. They did one portion of the work, repaired the soffit. Again at a time frame of several more weeks they came back and installed the gutter along the roof. As mentioned above, tthe work was NEVER completed even after further follow up. My email was ignored and collections calls continue, to which I will not be responding. As you can see from the other reviews and defensive responses by Cook, they are not a company that you want to deal with.
