  I hired ************ to come out and cut down some trees and grind stumps. They damaged 2 vehicles and the wheel of a dirt bike. The owner insisted his workers didnt tell him about it even though he also said he came to our home after they were done. We tried to work something out with the owner with him replacing the window and grinding stumps in exchange for cost of repairing the other damage. From the start he told us the cost of replacing the glass in one car was too night. We called multiple places and gave him the cheapest option. He insisted that his friend could do it for $190 and he would put him in touch. The place he names he did not get a quote from as they couldnt even find the glass for this vehicle. I contacted him multiple times but hes refused to help saying hes not responsible as he sent my boyfriend $260 for the $500 Glass. We had also pushed off the stumps for almost 2 months. He said he was coming last week, never even contacted us. The time keeps changing and he hasnt lived up to his end. He refuses to provide insurance information and has sent multiple threatening messages and left threatening voicemail. He has even threatened to call CPS on us if we take him to court. Called me a drug addict, says hes gonna tell them we were high out of our minds everytime he came to our home. Weve barely seen him and this is insanely unprofessional. At this point with these threats we no longer even want him anywhere near our property anymore

  I originally went over and spoke to *** the husband and we came to an agreement on price. All the while his eyes were buggered, and he was twitching like he was stoned. Acting very funny. During the estimate, he explained to me, they had had a house fire, and the vehicles and all of the stuff that looked like junk in the yard was being cleaned up and thrown away. They had a rented dumpster to get rid of everything already.  the car had four flat tires and I have pictures of this and the fact it was burnt up from the fire. Then when my guys went to do the job apparently a small branch busted the back window of the car in question. When discussed, I agreed to take care of it how the light. ****** told me to do as *** requested because it was his grandfathers car. In the text messages provided *** except the fact that I found pricing for the window to be done, I offered numerous times to him and his wife to have it done immediately and have it done myself. All the while they told me they just wanted cash. The amount we agreed on was $200, the window quote to be done at their home was 190.  For the trouble they were sent to $260 over cash app. And as they had had wanted me to come back to do some more ***** grinding, but did not have the funds available at the time I agreed to do a couple extra at my convenience, because I do not have a ***** grinder of my own. I rent one. I went after that fact, and tried to do these for them, and they were not home and had not marked them like talked about.  Then I told him I was going to be coming back on October 13. I would have a ***** grinder again and I could come that day as long as they for sure made sure that they were marked if they would not be home. At that time she started flipping out and telling me that I was not a man of my word, and that she wanted to just go through my insurance because I was not holding to my deal . To this day I am happy to grind a couple stumps for them. Or if they would like I will give $100 because I charge $50 each ***** normally. She talked bad about me on ******** and played with my thoughts by writing a five star review on ****** three separate times and deleting it at her convenience.   I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
  
  I originally set this meeting up to get our property ready for a shed delivery. He did meet with *** in person to give a quote and contacted me after. But here we are again starting with the baseless accusations of drug use or being high.  
  I originally explained the situation with the fire to ****. *** nor I ever spoke to him about vehicles being thrown away. We had a dumpster on site and ready for removal that was used for demolition of the shed and contents in carport that burned. Those items were in the dumpster prior to initially setting up an estimate. But the time they came to do the work 2 days later, the dumpster and contents had been removed so Im not sure how this is relevant to cutting trees. We also have videos and pictures of our car that disprove what this man is saying. Again we did agree to ************* replacing the glass and grinding the stumps in the yard in lieu of paying for the damages. He did not give us a date just that he would do it when he had his ***** grinder back. I also mentioned to him that we paid for 8 stumps and 3 trees to be cut and did not get the 8 stumps ground. It was a total of 4. Also that the way the property was left was unacceptable. He agreed to come back the next day to correct the problem with the stumps and yard. The next day he did come back. He let me know he was coming but not when he arrived. I happened to go outside while he and another gentlemen were out there. I overheard what sounded like complaining as he was grinding a ***** and I did hear him tell the other guy that thats good he has a 4 ******* to move the trees. They did not know I was standing on the porch and heard. when he turned and noticed me he asked if that was good and that they were pretty much manageable, I said yes. At this point it was awkward and based on his confrontational demeanor and my concern for my toddler.  I did keep in contact just so he wouldnt forget that we exist and there was work to do. Eventually I was given a date but due to rain i contacted him to let him know that it would have to be later in the week, he  said he would the next weekend. That weekend he did not show but messaged me Tuesday October 3rd saying he would come on the 13th. At this point the number of stumps he said he would do was far less than the amount of damage and it had lowered to 2. He refused to remedy the window situation as he said he wasnt responsible for damage his company caused. And it had reached nearly 2 months and we were quite frustrated so I messaged on October 4th with my concerns and needing to follow through with insurance. I was not rude and will upload this message. In response to this, I received a slew of hostile messages some of which included making false reports to social services regarding my toddler if we went to court. Stated I know you love your children but if you try to hurt my business I will do the same . I had tried to be polite and work with me. ***** until this moment. Even after those messages I did offer a solution of covering the additional window cost or grinding more stumps which he responded with him not being responsible. 
  I have all the same messages that ************** has. I also have video clips from the day of the estimate, the day they came out and the next day when he came. We have video cameras as I let ************** know when he started his fault allegations. I also have saved the voicemail left on my phone. At this point we are comfortable nor feel it would be safe for us if he were to come back to our home. 
  as for reviews, I did leave a 5 start the day of the work as he asked me to leave a review and I wasnt aware of damages. I did delete it and explained I would do another when he remedied the situation. I explained I did not want to leave a bad review and wanted to give him a chance to correct it. After coming to an agreement, it felt like he would be a man of his word so I did leave him another which was removed and as a result I received a threatening message. ************** temper seems uncontrollable and inappropriate. 
  This is wild! Again this man also stated that he had come to the house while they were finishing up, didnt see anything and stated multiple times his employees never told him. Since I have found that this he is conducting business with a status of pending inactive with the *** due to past due Business Registration fees. 
  
  we also never got a total of 8 stumps. ************* did come out that day and I thought he had done one but as we were cleaning the mess we found that there was at least 1 ***** still there and covered with branches and wood so it was not visible

  I have already submitted every single picture of every single conversation. I would definitely like to have the videos of her property. All of them not ones that she thinks are good for her, but if she would like to use evidence as videos, I am absolutely all about it. My pending in active has nothing to do with her considering when she had her job done, everything was active and she was showing proof of insurance and everything and decided to go with cash and stumps. When she provides the videos of her yard you will see that there was actually a total of nine stumps done already and I told her I would do whatever I had said was done two or three whatever I had previously said I would do. She denied this. And keeps making lies about more damage and more damage and more damage. My offer stands as long forever. I will not take it back, but I will not offer more.

  I will not continue the back and forth with a disrespectful, lying guy who clearly thought he could intimidate a woman into acquiescing. First off there were not 9 stumps ground. As you can see in the invoice and messages, we paid for 8 and they did not do 8. As we clean the disaster that was left in our yard, we are finding stumps they ground as he claims. That were clearly not done and instead covered with debris and hidden. 
  he never provided insurance and as toh can see in our messages, he became hostile and threatening upon me wanting to go through insurance. 
  This guy has tried intimidating and threatening me into letting him rip us off. 
  he could have just finished the job and provided insurance and all would be well at this point, I believe the best option is to go to court.
