On March 20th 2023 the name business delivered and spread 20 truck loads of dirt on my property all in one day. Company was paid $2500 for services rendered that day. While standing there i was offered another 20 truck loads delivered and spread the next day. I accepted the terms. The next day i was told the truck were not running it would be a few days. Over the next few days ************ removed trees on my property in exchange for the work for logs. During his logging he drove over an broke my septic line which was clearly marked with red flags and he was notified to avoid driving over and use caution, The septic line was broken and fixed a week prior to him showing up to do work. Its been 6 months since i gave him $1000 worth of money towards this work and the work is not completed. Its been excuse after excuse and lie after lie. 3 months ago i asked for his insurance information to fix my line and he never gave it. I paid out of pocket for the needed repair. I want to be reimbursed for damages on my line. He has finally delivered 14 out of 20 loads of dirt and is now refusing to finish bringing my dirt or spread it. In addition i feel this dirt may be contaminated with fuel and oil and may need to be removed. I have 6 months of text messages of lies, excuses and reasons foe why this work is not completed. ************ also borrowed 2 new fuel cans from me and hasn't returned them I want $70 to replace them. In addition ************ illegally entered the neighbors adjoining property and stole even more trees to see when he was told numerous times to stay off their property. I will be going to King ****** County Court house this Friday to file a lawsuit against ************ and his company.

My husband entered into a contract with D&C Erosion Control & Excavation's owner, *********************** on 4/20/2023. We promptly made a $500 deposit as stipulated on the contract. Per the contract, the work was supposed to be started on 4/25/2023 and finished on 4/26/2023. The work on the project began almost two weeks later than agreed upon due to **************** My husband received excuse after excuse as to why ************ could not commence/continue work on the project. Each time **************** told my husband that he would come and deliver dirt to our property, my husband took time off of work to make sure that things went smoothly. After over two weeks, on May 15, 2023, my husband decided to let **************** know that he no longer wanted **************** to continue on the project. **************** completed less than one tenths of the work that was promised on the contract as of May 15, 2023. *************** came to our property to pick up his trailer and skid steer on the afternoon of May 15th. While **************** was loading his equipment on his trailer on our property, he and my husband agreed that we would receive a payment of $250 as a refund of our original deposit. **************** stated that his fiancee would make the payment of $250 via Zelle on the evening of May 15, 2023. As of today, May 17, 2023, I have not received our refund. **************** is once again backing down on an agreement between him and my husband and not trying to pay us our partial refund because "the initial deposit is non refundable," and that "after the contract is signed and the work has begun both parties are legally bonded to uphold the contract no matter the time frame." On the contract, there is a provision to discuss further action if more time is needed, but nothing to the effect of the parties being bonded to uphold the contract no matter the time frame. There is also no where on the contract stating that the deposit is non refundable.

I hired this company to come out and repair my driveway. They came out and did an estimate to grade the driveway and remove some items from my property. I thought the estimate was fair. They gave me an estimate to clear the brush in a field that I had and I asked them to clear that. He spent what seemed like a long time doing the job (the first couple of days the workers came out and only spent 3 hours at the house). The next couple of days that they came out and did work the majority of the work was done at night and he kept telling me that I needed to purchase more Millins to put in the driveway (I thought he should have known in the beginning how much needed to be used to fix the issue and cover the driveway entirely but he didn't. He also kept asking for payment as if the job wouldn't get completed unless they got paid. When I paid for the job I originally asked for (and then some) he took all of his equipment and his people and left my property promising that he would return to remove the trees, spread the huge piles of dirt in my field and remove the junk they left in my yard and ensure that the driveway was graded properly. He went to my friends house and was trying to deliver equipment to her house to do work. I told her that he wasn't finished here and she wouldn't hire him with work that was incomplete here so he got upset with me because he said I pulled a stunt and ruined his chances of getting a puppy from her. Rain came and I now have a huge pond in my driveway because he didn't grade the driveway correctly and the items are still not removed and dirt not spread and trees not removed. He constantly says that he did me a favor with all the work he did. I told him I didn't ask for extra work, anything extra he did was his choice, not my asking. He sent me a message telling me he was coming on a day I told him I was unavailable and he told me I didn't need to be here. That is not acceptable, you don't do work when people aren't home.
