My experience was not good. I sought out help to write a resume after years out of the job market. The edits they sent me were filled with many grammatical errors and typos and they inserted my questions to them IN the actual resume instead of making the changes requested. I originally posted a review on Yelp and they responded by posting my personal information in their post.

Dear ******************************** from ******************,Your resume was finalized over a year ago, and now you return demanding a free rewrite. Your return after 16 months to demand a free resume is both unreasonable and unfair. We refuse to be blackmailed by the threat of a bad review! For less than $162, you received three different versions of your resume, each meticulously tailored based on your feedback.Lets address your claims one by one with the facts:1.Continuous Revisions and Feedback: You mentioned in multiple emails that the resumes look sharp but had minor suggestions which we promptly addressed. On March 18, 2023, you stated, Looks sharp but I have some notes.2.Claims of Inaccurate Advice: Removing dates older than 15 years is generally advised for those with consistent employment histories. However, your significant employment gap required showcasing relevant experience beyond the standard timeframe to demonstrate a solid work history.3.Communication Preferences: You preferred email feedback over phone consultations, which we accommodated.4.Omission of Key Details: You never mentioned needing to include your experience caring for a disabled child in our initial consultations.Your resume highlighted a varied and inconsistent work history over the past 15 years:Professional Dog ****** (Jul 2015 Mar 2016): Responsibilities included managing homeowners keys, administering pet medication, and handling various breeds and temperaments.Court Appointed Special Advocate (Feb 2015 Mar 2016): Gathered information and advocated for abused or neglected children in court.Given this limited and inconsistent recent work history, it was necessary to include older, more stable employment experiences to demonstrate your capability and reliability to potential employers.Email Communications:March 18, 2023Maryam House:Good evening *****, please see the updated resume attached. Thank you.*****:Looks ***** but I have some notes. In the summary, display should be displays. Change adaptable to adaptability. Verb tense change under ***** received instead of receiving. Extra bullet. ****** verb tense needs to match the rest. Holiday ********* time frame skills start in Jan 85. PBX operator use calls per minute. Time for a walk should say care for pets.March 19, 2023Laura:Thank you for the tweaking. Only 2 suggestions. Streamline the summary. Correct tense to adaptability.March 24, 2023Laura:I seem to have fallen off the radar and assume youve finished with me? Jobs more than 15 years old shouldnt be on a resume to guard against ageism. I have already put my resume out there for 3 employers (2 of the jobs are now filled & I was never called). This type of information is the area of expertise I should have been able to rely on your company to get right. This experience as a whole was far from perfect.Maryam House:Dear *****, thank you for your feedback. We made continuous revisions to two versions of your resume until there were no further revisions left. Removing dates older than 15 years is generally applicable to those with continued and consistent employment. As you have a significant employment gap, it was appropriate to go back further. We offered multiple times to do a consultation over the phone, but you refused. We hope you take our feedback into consideration. If you have any further concerns, please contact us. Sincerely, Maryam.March 26, 2023Laura:Maryam, it ought to have been recommended to remove dates older than 15 years. Feedback by email is more efficient for me. Remove the older dates on jobs and on top create the header, Early Employment or Early Job Experience? Which fits best? Also, remove all college dates!March 27, 2023Sean:Hi *****, please see attached revised draft. Let me know if you have any questions.(Last conversation we had dated March 27th 2023!)This communication trail clearly illustrates the extensive effort and patience shown by our team while highlighting the inconsistency in your work history over the past 15 years and the necessity to include earlier, more stable experiences. Your return demanding an update and lying about the quality of the resume 16 months later is laughable. You are lashing out because we refused to give you another resume with new information 16 months after your order was finalized. We don't negotiate with scammers and reserve the right to defend ourselves by letting everyone know the truth. We have zero tolerance for unreasonable behavior, a sense of entitlement, rudeness, and hostility toward our staff.
