          On July 28, 2014, BBB received information that Federal Career Placement Services offers services ranging from review of USAJOBs Resumes, setting up an account with USAJOBs, Interview preparation and packages combining two or more services.  

          On July 29, BBB attempted to contact the business via the telephone number provided on the Federal Career Placement Services website.  It was confirmed to be a cellular phone and the owner Rick Shore, sent a message back via text message, alleging that he was driving. 

          On August 6, BBB sent certified mail to the Stafford address the business provided on their website and it was delivered according to the United States Postal Service on August 7.  BBB asked to receive the following information in order to differentiate Federal Career Placement Services from other firms that may deliver little if any legitimate employment prospects in return for their fees:

          • To verify other sources other than the internet the firm uses for advertisement
          • To provide 10 consumers that the business has placed within a government agency within the last 12 months.
          • To confirm refund policy if consumers are not satisfied with services
          • To provide an address to verify the business permanent location.

          On August 19, BBB sent a follow up letter with a copy of the original letter via certified mail to the Stafford address the business provided on their website; however, a notice was left on Aug 20 due to no authorize recipient being available. 

          On September 5, BBB sent a final notice via email to the email address provided on the Federal Career Placement Services website but did not receive a response.
