Continued disappointment! I bought a 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 from them little over a month ago now. Less than 30 days the check engine light came on and needed fuel rails replaced. Within two days of repairs it is now leaking fuel and must be taken back in. Also to those veterans seeing the service flags out front, they gave no recognition or offers. Will be looking for another dealer to take personal and business purchases elsewhere unless something drastically changes.

Thank you for your review Mr. *********. We appreciate the feedback. We are glad the truck wasn't actually leaking fuel after the repair was done. We do apologize for the residual fuel left that we weren't able to get out of the noise cancellation foam the first time, but are happy we were able to get it out eventually. I know you and Krystal spoke and you mentioned you were extremely pleased with the service you received. We do hope to see you in the future for your service needs. In reference to your comment about veteran recognition and offers, we do offer discounts. We do attempt to thank every veteran for their service when they are in our store. I apologize if you didn't feel that we are thankful for your service (we are). Please feel free to give me a call or email if you'd like to discuss these items further. Thank you again for your business and your service. Cliff ******** ************ ext. *** ***************************

On May 8 we brought our 2019 CPO Tahoe to Charlie Obaugh for transmission issues. They had it for 18 days. We picked it up and immediately noticed ticking noises. We had it back in there the following day. They diagnosed that the problem was the lifters. They had it for 15 days. We picked it up and didn’t even make it home to find the ticking noise was still there. We immediately took it back. Different mechanics came to look at it and said “it’s an LT, they’re just noisy”. A parts guy rode with us and said it could be an exhaust leak. They requested for the vehicle to come back on Monday. They had it for another 5 days to repair the exhaust leak. When we picked it up the noise was still there. We immediately took it back, the service manager rode with us and said we were hearing a detention knock because we were not using high octane fuel and that it was a normal noise a car would make… we gave up and the excuses Charlie Obaugh was using and took it back to the dealership in Richmond we bought it from. They found staining on exhaust nuts, nuts to be loose, fuel lines loose, nuts missing and found a battery cable loose.

In response to this review. Customer is correct that the Tahoe had to come back to be repaired. I rode with customer to verify the noise. The noise I heard was caused by low tier fuel - I explained this to them. As far as the items the other dealership found - we paid that dealer to perform the repairs. We/I apologized to the customer for the inconvenience. We also gave (at no charge) exhaust parts - in case those parts failed in the future - to the customer at their request. I believe we have settled the matter with the customer at this point.

My car has been in their service garage since October and I have to continually call and ask for updates and normally get, we’ve ordered a part or sent a part back or I’ll call you back and I never get called. I’ve stopped by on several occasions on once was told that they replaced a part however now the check engine light is coming on and the battery won’t stay charged, but you can take it and just ignore the check engine light, it will run… Once the service person called back to the mechanic and was on speaker phone and the mechanic said he was tired of trying to fix the piece of junk, before the service person could tell him he was on speaker. Going into the 6th month, no car, no resolution and nothing from Charlie Obaugh… I don’t know what to do, I don’t want to take it home if it has a check engine…

Ms. ****** owns a 2007 HHR, Chevrolet stopped building HHRs in 2010. Most parts for HHRs have stopped being produced since it's 16 years old. We found an aftermarket part, a body control module, which did not work and we tried to get it reprogrammed which did not work either. The HHR needs a BCM but GM does not make one anymore and unfortunately there are no aftermarket available to us. We will be reimbursing Ms. ******'s money less the diagnosis fee. Mr. **** be in touch soon. Respectfully, Eric ******

This is an email I sent to COK about the matter I encountered on 11/8/22 "I had an extremely upsetting experience with your staff yesterday, and feel a need to make a suggestion about staff training. I own a 2016 Kia Soul (purchased from ******) and came in last week because the starting key had broken off from the automatic locking part of the key. The young woman at the desk informed me that the old key could not be fixed, and I would need to order one at a cost of $235.00. I paid for the new one, and set a date for the coding of the new key (Nov.8th). When I arrived, I was informed that the cost for coding was $150.00. Took me a bit by surprise! When this was done, I had a new automatic key, but no starter key! I asked about this, and was told that the starter key would cost $40.00. Sorry to say it but I saw red and went ballistic because I was feeling jerked around. Here's the problem: I was not told about everything up front and at the start. I was being surprised at every turn by a new cost. I was left to assume things instead of being told about it straight off. I will not be back. I strongly suggest you do a better job of training you staff on how to be totally honest with customers from the very start." When I got in the car, I discovered that my new "key" could open the door, but not START THE MOTOR!! All I can say is that if they had told me right up front about all 3 costs, I would not have felt so jerked around and would have just paid for it and nothing would have happened. They are very unprofessional.
