We recently used Craters & Freighter of Washington to ship family china to our daughter in St. Paul, MN from Northern Va. What an excellent company to deal with, from the initial online quote request to the final delivery of the China. We had online updates throughout and the office staff could not of been more helpful.

I used Craters and Freighters for shipping household goods form DC to Brussels. They were extremely attentive and had outstanding customer service. The quote went through several iterations to ensure it was accurate and they worked overtime to help with this. When the package arrived in Brussels, there were delays from FedEx. Craters and Freighters went above and beyond to communicate with FedEx and log complaints. Ultimately, the boxes were delivered successfully- which meant so much to my family as I moved with a two year old and was 7 months pregnant. Every delivery whether it has been on the East Coast or the West Coast has been well packaged and carefully shipped. We just shipped an antique dresser with mirror from VA to FL using Craters & Freighters. I was very satisfied with the service, attention to detail, packing, and safe transport. I received excellent service from Laura who worked with me to limit costs as much as possible and who kept me posted at each step of the process.. The company gave me plenty of notice when they picked up the dresser at a storage unit, packed it beautifully and got it safely to its destination.. The recipient was very appreciative and noted how well it was packed and protected. He was also pleased with the local delivery and set up (white glove service). C&F was not the cheapest bid I got to do the job, but had been referred to me by *** (who said they didn’t transport furniture anymore) and I felt I could trust them with a valued family heirloom. We used Craters & Freighters for the first time this year for some very valuable items donated to the university through the estate of an alum. The care taken of the items all the way from pick up to packaging to arriving on our campus was truly outstanding. Everything arrived in pristine condition. I hope we get to use them again. I had the pleasure of recently working with the C&F DC team. From the beginning the customer service was professional, polite and efficient. My request of them was a bit tricky involving several moving parts and they pulled it off without a hitch. Their efforts made me look like a hero to my family.
