I called to rent the small dumpster for 1 ton. When I spoke with the owner he offered me a larger dumpster for the 1 ton price because he did not have a smaller one. When owner dropped off the dumpster he asked for payment, I immediately gave him a check for the full amount. He told me not to fill for than 4 tons because his truck could not haul it away so we agreed not to do that. He left and then showed back up 30 minutes later saying he lost his check and needed another one. I asked if he could look for the old one but I would write another. He took another check then found the previous in his truck once looking. I called a week later for him to pick, he picked it up and did not say anything. When he called me later in the day he told me I filled the dumpster over 1 ton and I owed him for money. I went over our previous conversation and he basically called me a liar and said he would never say that. I’m not sure how being a homeowner I would know how much trash in a dumpster weighs 1 ton. This seems like a complete bait and switch. He told me he would email me an invoice because he didn’t know how much extra I owed him which is odd since he asked for my credit card. I received the additional cost and it was a 1/3 of what I had paid already. I would never recommend them. Completely a disgrace to any professionalism.
