            My vehicle has repeatedly been serviced at this dealership for the same reason: high oil consumption. The initial complaint was July 2021 in which I was told there was no found issue. I continued routine oil changes while adding at least 5 gallons every ******** miles. During this time the car was still under warranty. The problem continues for another 17 months until I replaced the spark plugs in December 2022 for approximately ******** The spark plugs were replaced again not even a year later (August 2, 2023)and the dealership recommended an engine replacement which costs *********. We're not only asking for this repair to be fully covered, but also a reimbursement for all relative expenses. Respectfully.

            If I could give 0 stars I would. Purchased car in June '21 from First Team Kia, this is now Jan 22. After just 3 days service engine light came on, took it back and they replaced the O2 sensors. NOW IT IS 7 months later, service engine light still on,. Now Was told by FTK that they didn't have diagnostic equipment. Paid *** for diagnostic from another service department, that to be told that 02 sensors still bad. FIRST TEAM KIA said they are not liable due to mileage of car when I purchased it.

            Hi Brenda, Thank you for your message. We're sorry for your most recent experience with us. However, the vehicle you purchased and agreed to was "as is," meaning that the vehicle was available and sold to you in the condition that it came in on the lot. We did put in a new O2 Sensor the week of your purchase as a courtesy, however, all current and future vehicle maintenance is not covered under any type of warranty, which was agreed on at the time of purchase. We would be happy to discuss this in further detail - please call our General Manager at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you would like to speak further. Thank you.
