I have been to salon o tony twice before the incident and both of those times I had booked and paid for the service through *******. The day of the service I would get my hair done and then afterwards I was good to go because I had already paid for service through *******. For this third time I called salon o tony to schedule an appointment for December 15, 2022 and I told them about the ******* offer and asked if I should purchase the service through ******* or how should I go about it bc I know they only get a portion of the money if the service is purchased through *******. They told me they would be able to match the price and not to book through *******. The day of the service I went to salon o tony and got my hair done. The payment part was always done after the service so I had no questions when I came in. When it was time to pay I spoke to the receptionist and told her I had called before and they told me they could match the price from ******* which was $89.70. She went to go speak to the guy who did my hair which he seemed to be the manager. The manager came up to me and said bc he used a special keratin, that I had to pay $40 extra bc it was a more expensive treatment. But I was not told that when he was applying the keratin to my hair. He said it would be $40 extra and that he was giving a discount with that price. The other two times that Ive been there they used the exact same keratin but I was not charged extra for it. I ended up paying $129 for the service when I was told they could match the $89 that they were offering on *******. I did not want to argue with them bc i did not think I could bc my hair was already done and I did not want to argue. They are spreading false advertising and are trying to take advantage of their clients. they only get a portion of the money if the service is purchased through ******* which is why they said they could match the price.
