      Called & was quoted $198 For my Bathroom surround Picked order up in pouring rain woman wasn't concerned nor said anything about needing the Box for any return. Get home box thrown away I call her back to inform her that there was only 3 Pieces & the 2 side panels weren't in box. She said those would be another $100. When I said I wanted my money back she refused saying she had to have the box to return to company Knowing the box was ruined. Said she had to send it back to the company. The product came from a filthy warehouse on the property. This is a scam & needs to be addressed. I asked for a price for a surround for tub which is 5 piece set she knew that their was only 3 in the box & that I'd have to come back for the other 2 pieces & tried to charge me another$100 It would have been$300 & she would have made a profit of $200 Because you can Buy The Same Set At Lowes For $99 for all 5 piece's I also had to buy more caulk Because the tube she sold me was old it was dry.

      Ms *** called in March in search of "walls" for a bathtub. She stated she was on a fixed income and needed something low in price. Ms *** stated she was purchasing these walls to help a family member (I believe her daughter but can't be sure) I checked my warehouse and found a set of new walls that had been dropped off by a supplier in error. The walls were to be picked back up by supplier and the correct walls were to be delivered the next week. I checked on the price and quoted her $190.00 for the walls. We talked for a good portion of time and I was under the impression she was going to use her existing corner pieces that were in the home, so she wouldn't need new corner pieces. This was perfect because all I had were the walls. She asked if I could hold them for her and she would be in that Friday. I contacted the supplier and informed them not to pick up those walls, that I had a customer that needed them. I "hide" the walls in the back of the warehouse so that they would not accidentally be picked up. Ms *** did not come that Friday, she came the next Friday. I held the walls for over a week. This was a brand new set of walls in a flat cardboard box, it was obviously just the walls as it was flat and there could not of been any corners in this box. I could not control the weather on the day that she decided to come and it was pouring rain . She called a few days later and said the walls did not fit. After discussing the issue, it was realized it didn't fit because she didn't have the corners. I thought she was going to use hers but she said no that they were damaged. I called the supplier to find out how much it would cost to purchase just the corners and I called her back and gave her the price of 99.00. She said she would call me back. The next day she called and stated her daughter had purchased one at ****** for 99.00 and they would try that one and she would call me back and let me know. She called back a few days later and said she was going to bring the one back that she purchased from me. I told her that was fine but it had to be in the original packaging (which I thought was customary anywhere anyway) because I had to send to back to the supplier like I was originally going to do before I held it for her. She said she threw the box away because it got wet. I did contact the supplier on her behalf and they will not accept any returns that are not in the original packaging and especially if there is no packaging at all. This would have been just 3 loose walls. I offered to try to sell them for her to another customer as a consignment type sell, she stated that she was going to sell them on Facebook marketplace and I never heard another word from her until now (2 months later). I would have gladly refunded her money on the caulk if she would have brought it back in but that was never even mentioned. As far as the warehouse, I'm sorry she thinks it's filthy, it does have dirt....it is a warehouse, no one lives there. This was not a "scam" and I do not appreciate that word at all. We have been in business for decades with thousands of satisfied customers. I try to go out of my way to make everyone happy, I guess that can't be done 100% of the time. Ms *** stated she bought the same set with 5 pieces from ****** for 99.00. It is not the same set, it is by another manufacturer and it is a different size than the one I sell. I would still be willing to try to sell the one she bought here on a consignment basis with all the rules of a regular consignment, as long as the walls are still in new and undamaged condition. I cannot guarantee the length of time or even if a consignment will sell.
