Quality of work was horrible and it has been a hassle getting them to come redo or at least fix it. My elderly parents hired this company to service their driveway. 2-3 months after they did the job, the driveway has tar seeping through all up and down and gravel flying every where. Someone finally came after weeks of calling them with no response and me leaving a honest review with pictures. The person who came from the company stated that it a step was missed then threw some sand like material on the spots where the tar was seeping through. This didn't last long (maybe 2 weeks) now the tar is seeping back through. During this time, ****** contacted my mother with the nastiest attitude. It was so bad that her grandaughter had to take the phone from her and come to her defense. Then he hangs up once he realized he wasnt going to get continue speaking to her that way. Once they read the review that I left, a lady from the company contacts my parents stating that they would come back if we take down the review on yelp down. We told them we would take it down once they completed the job that they started. They also made threats of suing us for slander claiming to know lawyers and judges in the area. They said we had til 1pm on July 2,2024 to take it down.

Tar Star paving was originally contacted to install a tar and chip driveway Tar Star paving explain the process of the Tar and chip and that its normal to have loose stone and tar bleed it overtime same as county roads and the tar is a non-trackable material Tar star paving was contacted three weeks ago that tar was bleeding through we explained that is normal with tar and chip but agreed to come out and look at it and fix it the same day we agreed on a day to come out and look at it. Then two days later we get a call from her son and brother -n-law making threats to harm us if we didnt come out and fix it this is on recording on our business line we explained that we could not come out if they make threats to harm our employees he continued to curse and yell even after I stated I already had a day lined up to come out with his parents so I hung up and called his parents and asked if she still wanted us to come out and if she did please dont have them on the property after the treats that was made she agreed so the guys went June 22 2024 out to look and fix driveway when getting there the tar was bleeding on the left side of the drive the guys walked up and down the driveway where the tar was with there go pro cameras and documented that the tar was not sticking or tracking they show on video tar not sticking to there shoes or hands while touching the tar so after that they explained to the lady what they were gonna do to fix the problem they explained they were going to use motar mix grit to put over the tar to cover it and keep it from showing thru then sprinkle some of the stone that was left behind previously when laying the driveway to blend the spots in thenafter the motar mix was spreaded over the tar and the guys started putting the stone down the husband come out threating the employees to not touch the stone again the employees then explained to him what they were doing it for and he said dont touch it they explained that it may not blend in properly without the stone on top and all he said was dont touch the stone then after that the guys walked everything over and made sure all tar spots was covered and took photos and recording of everything and left then later that afternoon there grand daughter ****************** called and left a very nasty threatening voicemail on the business line then proceeded two write two false claims on ****** review stating we never came out or fixed any problems when we have both video and photo documentation showing we did fix everything then Monday July 1 2024 the wife called said the mortar mix we put done didnt blend all the way in and its a little dis colored and we missed one spot of tar and told her the guys would be out Saturday July 6 2024 to bring more mortar and stone to put over the spots the stone still may not be exact shade of color due to us not being able to use the stone that is out there tar star paving never threatened anyone into removing reviews we did state we were not going to come out again unless the reviews were deleted or corrected because she stated we never done anything at all to try and fix and please them in the situation which is false so tar star decided just to make this last and final attempt to please them we feel we have tried our best to go out of the way to provide customer satisfaction even after being threaten multiple times and cursed at.
