      ZERO STARS !!! let me begin by saying there was only ONE person that did what she could to apologize and help the situation before matters became worse her name was Felicia she works at the ******* News Grand Furniture location. Thank You to Felicia. I purchased my furniture back in February I requested it to be delivered April 15th my move in date to my new home. I received a call a week before stating my headboard had a discrepancy mind you I only ordered a headboard set and dresser nothing else. I received a call my furniture would be delivered April 29th in the evening. The gentleman come and bring everything upstairs I sign for everything only for the driver to say they were missing post to connect the headboard they will need to take everything back and return another day. I called Grand to reschedule and express how unpleasant that was. I wait on a delivery time. They returned to deliver on May 4th that morning, for the driver to realize once everything was upstairs there were no slacks for my bed to be placed on. He calls the wharehose They explained he would need to come back there and deliver to me that same day. That did not happen When the gentleman calls me back at 7 pm that same day He claims they left the screws he will return in the AM the next day. Constant inconviences towards me. I called Grand every single time there was an incident. When I ended up speaking to Felicia she was able to get me a **** credit BUT I get back home on that wends May 4th to see the top of the headboard was completely broke not sure how that occurred !!! I had not been home all day.!!! as of today 05/25/22 I received a call at 8:30 asking if I will be home at 10am to deliver a replacement headboard !!! Once again another inconvience I have tried to contact corporate numerous times left voicemails and no one has contacted me back **** credit on the back end of my payments is a slap in the face I am very dissapointed. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM CORPORATE EITHER !!

      PLEASE READ!! Grand Furniture has to be the worst furniture store in the Hampton Roads area! I made a purchase for a sofa, loveseat, recliner and dining table, over the phone, only to find out after the fact, that there would be no receipt emailed or mailed to me. The only proof of purchase I had was my bank statement as I purchased using my card. That was the first red flag! The sofa and loveseat arrived and the delivery guy damaged my hardwood floor showing me how to use a battery pack. After I immediately pointed it out, he stated that he was doing me a favor because he wasn't supposed to do that. My thought is that he should have made that clear and not do it. The point is he still scarred up my floor! I was so upset with that issue that I did not notice the damage on the sofa until after the delivery truck left! There was damage on the side of the sofa and the left facing arm chair was not properly in place because it was broken! I was furious!! I immediately took pictures and called my sales rep at Grand. He told me to contact delivery company regarding my floors and I sent him pictures of damaged sofa. The young lady at the delivery company told me they had no Claims department and all she could do is give a message to her manager. I knew right then I was doomed regarding my floors! I was so angry I wanted nothing to do with Grand so I cancelled my entire order and refused replacement of the damaged sofa. I was then told I would be charged a restocking fee. It truly boggles the mind to think that Grand is so hard up for money that they would charge me a *** restocking fee FOR DAMAGED GOODS THAT CLEARLY CANNOT BE RESTOCKED! Also, as common courtesy for my damaged floor they could have waived this fee! So, bottom line is that I have nothing from Grand Furniture but they have a whopping 20% restocking fee from me! What a disgrace!

      Our policy is to repair or replace. This customer did not want to do either one and just cancel the sale. It is in our terms and conditions if we pick up the merchandise, there will be a *** restock fee.
