I contacted Volvo Headquarters to request the procedure to file for a warranty refund following a tire failure that was under warranty and experienced a side wall failure due to a manufacturing defect and not by use. Volvo under Case: ******** told me to file that through my local Volvo Dealer, which is Volvo of Virginia Beach. I contacted Volvo of Virginia Beach and they failed to support my request to file for a warranty replacement of my tire despite the paperwork in my sales agreement (located in my glove compartment) indicates that the tire is clearly under a manufacturer's warranty. Instead of helping me, they only (and in a rude manner) just told me they could not help me with this process as I did not purchase an "extended tire replacement warranty." While true, the tire was still under the ***** warranty period. I am requesting Volvo finish the job of assisting me in filing that warranty as the company that sold me the vehicle and the company that replaced the tire. They kept the replaced tire and should contact the *** to get the required warranty refund.Business response

Good afternoon, the tire in question has already been picked up for recycling and we are unable to provide the tire manufacturer with required measurements from the tire to process the pro-rated warranty. Due to Mr. Caudle's loyalty to Volvo and the Wynne family we will be issuing a refund for the amount of the one tire that was replaced.
