My rental office maintenance team changed the locks on my mailbox and I haven’t had access to mail in months. I have called several times on this issue and nothing is being done. I am a good tenant and I have been a resident at my complex for years. Also, the maintenance team entered my home for a routine service and broke my blinds inside my home and left them on the floor. I was told that the repair would be made the next day and nothing was done. We also don’t have any building lights, or parking lot lights. This happens at least every other week for months at a time. It’s a nightmare trying to get inside my home. The stairwell is pitch black and I have a young baby. The rental office property manager has made it knows that she purposely ignores phone calls. I also have the emails to back up everything that I am saying. I hope that something can be done about this. Thank you.

I was given a roach infected apartment when I moved in October 2020 ... I have videos and pictures before I moved anything in of the roaches ... and I have been complaining ever since ... I was recently charged for a exterminator for a clean out (which I didn't know I would be charged for ) and the manager (*******) refused to remove the charged because she stated my apartment is unsanitary (which is a lie) and basically I'm the blame to why the roaches are there ... they need to condemn these apartments and also people have complained about the mice on their apartments and the people across the street from also have roaches ... so it's definitely not me and when I moved in I didn't even have furniture because my apartment before had burned down and I also have pictures of and video... I want the charges removed or I will start paying my rent to the courts

Hello. I'm contacting due to an issue I'm having with my former rental property Nav *** formerly known as the ******* at **** ****** Upon move-out on 2/8/2022, I ensured I left my unit (XXXX) in the very best condition possible. On the 11th of February we received the final bill with what was owed. We see a charge for carpet cleaning for **** Had we received the carpet clean and stain free, we would have no issues with paying that, however, we did not receive our unit that way. We explained this to the property and even showed video at move-in and move out showing condition of the carpet. They're claiming because we did not complete the move-in "inspection" form within 5 days of move-in there's nothing that can be waived on their part. Even with proof of how disgusting the carpet was. We also had roaches in the unit that a former manager tried to kick underneath the door to hide from us. We divulged that info as well. We explained that in less than two weeks from our initial move-in on May XX XXXX, I deployed for 5 months leaving my wife to care for everything on her own hence why that form may not have been completed. We were ensuring she was in a safe area before she was left alone. We had just moved from a dangerous area of Portsmouth where we were awakened by gunshots almost every single night. We were desperate and in a rush to get things done, just us two. They are failing to understand the unique challenges the military presents at times like these. I've been calling and leaving voicemails since move-out with no call back. As I read on just about every single review page on the internet this is a common issue with this company. Our final statement came up to ******** We're **** willing and able to pay what we know we owe, but are not comfortable with paying money when we know is not our responsibility to pay. We're hoping there's something that can be done on behalf of the BBB to help us come to a resolution. Thank you in advance for your time.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/25) */ I understand the community has given you a copy of the carpet estimate (copy attached) and explained that without a copy of the conditions form that should have been completed within five days of move-in Unfortunately, the charges on your final account of deposit stand and we are unable to waive any portion of the fees. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) That's ridiculous. It's a well known fact that the money paid for "carpet cleaning" isn't used for that. If that were the case, our carpet would have been cleaned when we received our unit. That's fine though. When we're able to, we'll scrape together the money for the crooks at your business. As a word of advice, please also pass to them to stop allowing drug dealers to riddle your properties, homeless people to sleep under the stairwells (probably the same people who leave human excrement and vomit stuck to the walls) and actually listen to the complaints of current residents in regards to foul smells coming from many of the units in building 6 due to disgusting living conditions. If the place were reasonably clean people would have zero problem paying for your bogus "cleaning fees". You all are a long way from that. :)
