Original contract date: 8/2/21. Deposited ***** for a 20'x24' steel building. I deposited ***** more in early September when the manager offered to upgrade the type of building. Was denied a building permit by the on 11/3/21 because the architecture's seal was not fully visible on the building blueprints and the plans had a date older than 10 years. I requested updated blueprints on 11/5/21 and was told that I would have them in a couple of weeks. In December, I could not get anyone to return phone calls or come to the door when I tried to find out what was Going on. On January 5th, I was told that I needed to pay another ***** for new plans to be drafted and was told that the local office would pay half and as soon as I got a check for ***** to them, I would have the plans so I could apply for my building permit. I took the check for ***** to them on 1/5/22 and was told I would have plans in hand within 21 days. I still do not have my plans (4/27/22) and I want my money back so I can go somewhere else and contract to get the structure that I should already be using built. I've asked for my money back and was told that it's being held somewhere else and it isn't the company's fault because they are at the mercy of the engineering department. I've been told that the plans are sitting on a desk somewhere ready to be shipped, but we cannot get a tracking number or confirmation. I am tired of being lied to and would like my money back. If I can't get my plans within one week of this report (delivery), I want to be refunded all of the money I deposited *********** so I can go elsewhere.Business response

When it comes to "site specific" drawings for a steel building garage, additional time is needed to create those, however, we agree with you, it should not have taken this long & "normally" it would not have. Unfortunately, the fallout from COVID has left not only us, but the entire industry with unprecedented challenges that are outside of our company's control & the most frustrating has been timing. I can assure you we're doing everything within our control to expedite this process. You and I have since spoken several times. I am glad we we're able provide a mutually desirable resolution. Your patience and consideration are greatly appreciated. When all is said & done, I am confident you will have a great building! We purchased a steel building in February of 2021. The company stated that the building materials would be delivered in April or May of 2021. We have tried to contact the company for an explanation of why we have not received our materials for our building. They have not contacted us about the delay. We paid ****** at the time of purchase. They then contacted us two weeks later to tell us that the cost of the materials have gone up. We then paid an additional ****** immediately. We have documentation of emails that we have sent.Business response

12-10-21 Tyler with steel building pros came out to my house to give a quote on a 30x50 building. He claimed the company has building that were pre bought and never picked up so they sell them at a discounted price. He called Terry and we hashed out the details. Tyler asked me about accessories such as sky lights and vents which we declined he never mentioned the baseplate. I made sure to ask him if the ******* was the total price out the door delivered and taxes he replied with, yes he assured me he wouldn't be back in a few weeks asking for more money. The company asked for at least *** down so we wrote a check for ***** then 2 weeks later Terry calls asking for ***** more for a "baseplate" but says it an accessory. so i had him email me what he was talking about since a baseplate sounded more like a necessity and indeed it is. That's how you anchor the building down to the ground, i called Tyler asking him why I'm being asked for more money, he says he will check into it then stops responding to my text. I asked terry for my money back and he said they couldn't because they sent my check to the factory terry calls back and says there are multiple ways to anchor the building, then he offers a cheaper C channel for ***** which is still unacceptable then he came down to ****** I told terry I could go up to ****** more but that's all I can do. he said that wouldn't work, so I ask for my money back again and now terry has stopped communications as well. I've asked to speak with the owner and or the person over terry with no response. I just want my money backBusiness response

I put down a $ ****** dollar deposit for a building on 12/23/20 , I have called several times and just get a run around , I want my $ ****** deposit back , the lady I talk to on the phone always say your money will be returned but when years from now , she has to run it through her supervisors , I talked to the salesman that took the money he suggested I get an attorneyBusiness response
