New roof installed in March , leaks, Thin supposedly has a 50 year warranty.I called Paramount on 4/29 22 its now 4/29/22 , no one has called or come by to look at the problem.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/05) */ THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS CUSTOMERS CONCERNS TO OUR ATTENTION. THE PROJECT ORIGINALLY COMPLETED WITHOUT ISSUES. THE CUSTOEMR CONTATED OUR OFFICE ON APRIL 15TH. A SERVICE REQUEST WAS ISSUED FOR OUR TEAM AND SENT TO THEM. UNKNOWINGLY THE CREW CHIEF HAD TO LEAVE THE STATE FOR A FAMILY EMERGENCY WITH HIS FATHER AND FAILED TO REASSIGN THE TICKET. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVEIENCE TO OUR CLIENT. ON FRIDAY APRIL 29TH THE CREW DID MEET WITH THE CUSTOMER AND DISCOVERED A HOLE IN ONE SHINGLE AND THE REPAIRS WERE MADE. THE CUSTOMER SIGNED OFF ON THE SERVICE REPAIR. Contract dated 11/18/21, installed and paid in full 1/25/22, *********** sales rep Jessica ******** represented company professionally, was knowledgeable about product and installation and President of company reviewed tub area on site prior to installation. The install was done and on the face appeared good. After using shower first day realized I cannot stand on the slanted surface as I am 82 and have a balance issue when on slanted surfaces. Assumed pan would have a slight downgrade for drainage but this pan is excessive and has deep ridges and I can not stand safely. Called, explained problem and they sent out a mat saying it would fix the problem. It does not and also holds water and never dries which will cause mold. After discussing pad problem they said They have plan B which is to level the pan. Have no idea how that would be done but it has not been addressed. 2nd problem is the door which not balanced and one door is chipped on the bottom right corner. They have never addressed the chip and sent service man 2x to fix. First one didn't fix and the 2nd one came with no tools to repair. The bottom track is not level so the door slides down track on its own. Either they didn't check level of floor when installing or the track frame is not installed properly. Either way they will not respond to my repeated calls to service manager or office manager. Have spoken with sales rep and all she can do is ask us to wait for someone to return call. This has gone on for weeks so now need your assistance if possible. Thank you.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/03/23) */ Contracted with customer on 11/18 with installation beginning on 1/25 and completing the next day. We received a call from the customer on 2/7 indicating that he was not pleased with the existing shower pan and the slant of the surface. We attempted to solve the issue with ordering a shower mat that would lessen the angle, but after trying it, the customer was still not pleased. Mr. ******* came to our office on Thursday, March 17th and met with Mr. *********. We agreed to replace the initial shower that he chose with a different design that has a different shower pan and redo the job. Materials were ordered on March 18th and are scheduled to be received on April 10th. Our customer has been notified that materials have been ordered and we will contact them as soon as the shipment arrives in our warehouse to schedule installation. My bathrooms were installed on October 11 & 18, 2021. The tub in the master bathroom was cracked on installation and white caulk was used to try to hide it. I informed the company of this and they had it repaired. The bathroom installed on 10/18 leaked a large amount of water into my kitchen on the first use. The paint on the ceiling bubbled. The crew was out at least four times to fix the leak, each time assuring it was fixed. The crew painted directly over the bubbles and wet drywall and said that was fine. As expected the bubbles reappeared. I scraped the bubbles and allowed the drywall to dry before skimming and painting it. The leak again was noted and seemingly fixed on Jan 10 of a different crew from the same company, at my request. I had also informed the company at the same time the the brand new tub in the master bathroom acrylic had began to chip. I sent photos to them via email and the installer that fixed the leak also checked them. I emailed the person handling this problem on 1/12 & 2/1. I heard nothing on the email side. I called a few days & left a message, no return call. I filled a warranty claim on their website. No response. I received a call on 2/15 from ***** (I believe) that did my file was pulled and put on *******'s desk and she will call me the next day. It is now 7pm on 2/28. I called again today and left a message. I would really like my tub fixed or replaced, if necessary. I would love to have my kitchen ceiling repaired as you can see where a different colored caulk was used by the company to repair defects but I understand that probably isn't going to happen.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/03/24) */ We contracted with our customer on 6/28/21. After receiving products on 8/30, we began our renovations for two bathrooms at the residence on 9/13. After completing the two installations, we did receive a service call that was scheduled and completed on 9/22. Throughout the next several months, we have had contact from our customer with concerns; of which all issues have been addressed. The last issue was resolved on 3/14/22 and we have had no further complaints since that time. We appreciate our customer's patience as he allowed us to address and correct any and all items. The company did have a third party come out and repair tub issues. I would strongly suggest that this company be easier to contact and reach someone. That would have made this much easier. Every single time I called there was no answer and had to leave a message and the majority of the time that message was never returned. I had to resort to ******** to reach you. Paramount Builders in ******** ****** has been contacted since Jan 16 to fix issue with roof leaks and we continue to get the runaround from this location on getting service work completed and fail to return calls when they state they would nor make any effort on providing customer service in resolving our issues. During this time, we are experiencing damage to our walls, floors and ceiling and possible mold issue due to leak and we may have to look at exploring legal action because the company is not making any effort to correct our issue(especially since we have purchased a roof, gutter and siding from this company and supposed to have lifetime warranty. We are seeking guidance and the desire for Paramount to fix our issue/concerns.Business response

Although we attempt to handle every customers concerns in a timely fashion, the area of concern for this customer was on a roof slope. Unfortunately, due to the location of the concern, and the wintery winter weather we were experiencing, we had to reschedule both the originally scheduled visit, and the subsequent visit due to wet and/or icy conditions. Paramount does value the customers concerns, and met with them to address them as of Friday February 18th. The day(s) the business scheduled to come out it was already forecast to rain. The beginning issue began with Jan 16 initially in getting any response at point of contact with vendor. The lady I spoke to was not very pleasant and even with repeated calls on status updates, they never followed through on returning calls or when next scheduled date to repair issue. This is very disappointing customer service and the lady was not pleasant to deal with. The ********** number I found happened to be the corporate office and I explained my frustration on the lack of communication and service and the office director was more than helpful and continued to follow up with me on status. The response from the statement was not entirely accurate in that it was the ONE day they actually scheduled a service. It was only time they made the effort. In the end, the ********** corporate office was more than willing to help with the issue and follow up. The ******** ***** location is the issue and rude customer service agent. I am satisfied with final result, but the ******** ***** location should be more customer service friendly and accommodate customer service needs. Both of my neighbors also used Paramount Builders and expressed their same frustration on service (******** ****** office), but they did not file a complaint due to their work schedule, but they also contacted the Corporate office to get issues resolved. I hope for better results in the future if needed. Thank you for your time in this matter and thank you to the ********** office for their help in resolving my concerns.
