      Upon delivery of our master bedroom furniture it was quickly evident that these were oversized pieces that would not fit in our bedroom and the drawers of the Tall Drawer Chest would not open without bumping into the nightstand. There was nowhere else to place this piece of furniture. As our Salesperson was not in and we spoke with the woman who answered the phone. After seeing the photo, she also agreed. (see IMG attached). She in turn spoke with the manager about a possible solution to return this one(1) piece, charging only a restocking fee. The delivery men then removed the item to return to the store. This same woman called back to let us know that they would charge us a re-stocking fee of *********. She said she would mail us a copy of this transaction. (Attached as: Carolina Furniture - Return Reimb Mailed copy.pdf) Reviewing our ******** *******, we see that they only credited *********, not the *********. Again, the re-stocking fee was to be *********. They charged for the wrong amount, rather than the re-stocking fee that the sales representative told us about. The copy of the 'Customer Transaction History' was mailed, and is confusing, as is shows deductions for both: -********* and -********* We want this corrected and to credit us properly as we were told.       carolina furniture will not credit your **** account from once you have purchased any product. the store owner (joe ******) wants to give you store credit. However, buying a sofa, 2 chairs and ottoman we called the store not to deliver the chairs and ottoman just the sofa. the shipping manager stated- "let us deliver the products and if you don't like it just return it on the truck.
      Upon the return of chairs and ottoman- Joe ****** wants to give store credit and charge us a ******* for re-stocking fee. the store representative miss-represented the store by stating-"you can just return product customers do it all the time" We notified **** and are trying to work it out.
      However, the rapacious owner-president Joe ****** doesn't want to work with us. I asked him several time to visit his store in order to fix the aforesaid situation. He declined on each occasion.

      A week prior to the ***'s making their purchases, we explained to them that all sales were final. Because they were unsure of some items, our sales associate went out to their house to help them measure their space and avoid making any mistakes. After their house call they decided to purchase the agreed upon furniture and they also added 2 chairs. They paid for these items and awaited to be scheduled for delivery. 4 or 5 days later, they informed the delivery coordinator that they were concerned about the size of the additional pieces. Because they had already purchased them, they were advised to at least try the chairs, before we got into credits, cancelations, etc....

      Even though our stock sales are final, we extended a store credit in full to apply to another purchase. When they came into the store demanding a refund to their credit card, I advised that a refund would come with a **** cancelation/refund fee whereas a store credit is applied in full. In the following days Mr. *** advised us that he had charged back all of his purchases even the ones which are in his home and being used by he and his wife. I then explained that I can't do anything to his account until contacted by ******* chargeback department. All of our policies are printed on the front of our sales orders, and we try to be extremely clear as to how we do business.

      I've written countless emails to Mr. *** trying to explain the nature of our policies and the timeline of the events surrounding his order, but we cannot reach a mutual understanding.

      We have offered several options for resolution and I'm sure everyone will eventually be comfortable with the outcome.
