              On 1/12/24 I booked just rentals for 1/20/24 for my girlfriend as she does not ski. We planned to purchase lift tickets as a group to get a discount. Only a couple hours after I purchased the rentals online did we realize the dates didnt work and had to cancel our trip. I called the number to ask for a refund for the rentals. Again, I had not even purchased lift tickets, just the rentals. The person who answered the phone asked what my reason for cancellation was and I told them that we simple cannot make it. He told me they do not offer refunds. How can they not offer a refund when the actual usage date is more than a week away? It doesnt affect anything to just reimburse me. They want me to pay almost $100 for ski rentals we cannot use. I will be having my bank charge back the transaction for services not rendered unless they refund me.

              The manager at the Edge, *****, should not be in the hospitality business. His rudeness exceeds any reasonable expectation boundaries one should tolerate, even for a small time resort restaurant with a captioned audience. He is a detriment to the other exceptional people/staff that work hard to represent Wintergreen Resort in a positive light. What a shame! Have been coming to Wintergreen for forty years. 99% of the staff are excellent. Truly a shame a managed people like ***** can drag the entire team down into the sewer. Someone should help ***** out and find this young man find a new occupation away from anything to do with hospitality.
