    C&S was tasked with building a 20' x 14' A-frame covered porch with an open *****, ceiling T1-11 with doubled up rafters 1" x 4" over gap for a beam look. Our contract began on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Under the contract, the vendor agreed to provide a one-year warranty on labor only, materials warranty provided by the supplier. In total, we paid $23,000 in two increments; the initial deposit and amount due on the day of the completion. The work was completed no more than 2 weeks afterwards and we are paid in full. The work is beautiful. They showed up on time and worked full days to get the deck project completed on-time. There are no complaints with the workmanship and communication during the project. We are very happy with the deck. In November 2021, after a bad storm, we noticed pieces of the roof (mainly shingles) had flown off and left the wood exposed. We called and left a message to have C&S come out and take a look. We received a response from that initial communication and was told they would be out that weekend. They did not show. We called, left messages, sent text messages, etc. for the next 3 weeks - without receiving any response. We sent an email on 12/29/21, again requesting a response to repair the roof, as more bad weather (snow, ice, rain, etc.) was coming and we wanted to avoid a smaller issue turning into a bigger one. We received a text message that day from the owner, *************************, that he was out of town, apologies for the delay in response and will return our call later that day, to schedule a repair. We have not heard back. We continued to call, send text messages, and still no response. We wanted to avoid this action, but we are now faced with a roof repair **** totaling $1,000 that could have been avoided.This is about communication and honoring the agreement. We are disappointed in this customer service and would like a response from this company as soon as possible to repair the damage under the warranty.
