Took my 2023 ******* for a simple oil change 5/11/2023. Was greeted by a Guy that I’ve seen work all over town. Every time I see him, he’s on his phone while dealing with consumers. Last place I saw him work was the ***** gas station **** ***** ***** ****, Dumfries va, *****. Same thing there. Always on the phone while working. This immediately turned me off as soon as I pulled up but I decided to be optimistic and go through with the process. My car is brand new with no issues to date. After the oil change, I took it home. Went back out an hour later and my cars check engine light was on, oil light was on, and the car would not accelerate. I immediately called back only to be hung up on. I called again and said “hey, you just hung up on me.” The same guy then replies, “yeah.” I asked him what he did to my vehicle and he replied “can you bring it back in when we open tomorrow.” I don’t even know why this man is allowed to work while being on the phone every place I’ve seen him at. He also worked at the ***** gas station **** ****** ******* *******, Woodbridge va, *****. I will not be returning to this location for any reason. I commute daily 1h+ to Sterling Va for work and now, for no reason at all, that is in jeopardy. This place is a scam and nothing is done about it. Very unprofessional. Receiving a refund won’t be satisfactory because the damage is beyond the $93 I paid for the oil change. These criminals need to be shut down and thrown in jail for the tampering that they do on the daily. I will be taking further action on account I don’t even feel like me voicing this complaint will accomplish anything. The effects that this will have on my family and my daily commuting isn’t something that can be compensated for by simply refunding my money. I’m not going to take it back only to be charged more money to fix problems they create.Business response

on this dy in question.. ************** called our shop to explain whats going on with his vehicle.. at the time of conversation .************** was asked to bring his bring back to the shop so that we can see whats going on our what the cauase was.. ************* said he would bring his back the next day.. ************* failed to retun his vehicle as directd by us.. ************* decided to take his vehicle somewhere else.. Once ************* came back to us explainging whats going on.. we asked to see the detail report that was found on the vehcile.. ************* could not provide us the information.. And as stated to ************** he was supposed to bring his vehcile back to us.. and also stated that if he took vehicle somewhere esle to see what issues was going ong first he needed to contact us and discuss how to resolve the issue.. ************* failed to do so .. so as stated on the receipt.. the work is voided and we are not liable if he doesnt return the vehcile to our location.. to see what caused the problem or the issue.. ************** did not want us to look at his vehcile at ant point of our concversation.. but be advised we have caled ************* on several occasions to reimburse him money for the services he paid for.. as of now ************** has not responded or even attempted to reach out to resolve this matter
