I completed an appointment with Brightseat Health on April 24,2023. Prior to the appointment, I was charged $125 and no receipt was provided. When I asked why I was charged that amount, I was told because I hadn’t reached my duductable. After speaking with my insurance company, I was advised that I should not have been charged that amount. On 5/1/2023 I spoke with a staff, explaining to them that I was charged incorrectly. I was told that I would receive an email regarding my concern. To date I have heard nothing. I have sent several emails, called, and left voicemails with no response. I recently received my explanation of benefits and it’s confirmed that Brightseat Health overcharged me. I believe they are aware of this and are avoiding refunding me.
