Hired ******************* in Oct to write a letter to my neighbors. He said before I sent the $2000 retainer no problem. I paid the retainer herd nothing from him after 2 weeks I called, I have been busy haven't had time. He said he would make a appointment for next week to come and see my property, 2 weeks later I called same thing haven't had time but i will come thursday , so he came first thing he said was whom he has worked for. WHAT about client confidentiality. Then before even looking at the land he says you willing to throw them some money. Also said it does not matter that for almost 30 years I have used the land clear the land and thought it was mine. He says image how they would feel. then he said he is not going to do anything until after the holidays because just think how they would feel getting a letter just before the holidays. He said I should have put a fence around my entire land. I have never seen anyone put fence around there land. I feel he knows the neighbors because he was more concerned with them than his client that paid him. I ended up going to the Dr's over the stress of this. She was in shock over what was going on with the lawyer, she suggested I fire him as this was not right, I don't even take advil I will let a headache go work it's self out I don't like meds I am know on antidepressants for this. so now holidays over i called end of Jan because I haven't herd from him. Same thing Haven't had time, So I said I should have been told before sending the retainer you didn't have time or interest in my case. so I call the next week he supposable talked with someone else and he's not going to do anything. I want all my money back, He will not give me any back it's been over three weeks. I am also filing a complaint with the bar. Also forgot to mention I love dogs I have 3 he brought his dog and walked him around while my dogs were going nuts. not very professional if you ask me.
