Booked the hotel through Expedia and canceled over 48 hours in advance. It was a pay at property deal. I never even stepped foot on there property especially didnt check into the hotel. I was charged for a 2 nights stay. They have yet to refund meCustomer response

We booked 2 rooms on August 23, 2023 with Booking.com one hour before arriving to motel. We went to our rooms only to be confronted with an atrocious smell-think decomposition meets moldy, musty stale rugs. We turned around immediately and asked for a refund. *****, the clerk on duty advised it wouldnt be a problem but we had to go through Booking.com.Booking.com has received verbal confirmation to refund our $245.02. They require written confirmation as well. ***, the manager, refuses to respond to me and Booking.com with this written request. *** called for 6 days straight attempting to speak with him. Hes always unavailable.*** also left numerous messages with the staff on duty asking for a call when he returns without any response from ***.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. They have repeatedly ignored my calls and numerous messages.
