Late winter Michelle took my money and ran away with it. Looks like I'm not the only victim involving this business.Initial Complaint

Michelle was my photographer for my wedding on 9/23/23. I paid her in full (2 transactions via Venmo) and per the contract, I should have received my pictures within 4-6 weeks, however I have not received them. She was responsive up until 10/25/23 and her last text stated she would upload the pictures that day, however nothing was uploaded. Through discussion with other brides who hired her, found through recent online reviews, there are 7 other brides (dating back to 2019) that are experiencing this- none of which received their photos or a full refund. She has completely cut contact with all of us, and continues to book other weddings in *******. Her voicemail is full, and emails cannot be delivered, as her inbox is at maximum capacity. Though she does not respond to her texts, and calls, all messages are being delivered. Michelle is in clear breach of the contract, and again, continues to scam other brides. I need all photos for the specific performance which was agreed upon, otherwise need a full refund.Customer response

I paid Michelle Frehsee a deposit in the winter ***** to take wedding reception photos on Sept. 2, 2023 in ********, **. I tried repeatedly to get her to meet with me to discuss the project, to see the venue, understand the lighting, etc. I called, emailed, wrote letters , left messages repeatedly from April - August and she never got back to me until 10 days before the event. It's like she took the deposit and ran away with it. By the time I heard back from her it was too late. I had to find another photographer. I have asked in writing for my deposit to be returned. Her voice mail doesn't accept any messages and her email box is full. Other people , especially brides/******, need to made aware that she is not reliable.Customer response

I tried many times to get her on her phone or via email.
I just sent this email again: "Dear Michelle
I hope you get this message.
I would really like to resolve this issue without having to deal with the Better Business Bureau or other mitigation.
Please return my $420 deposit as you did not hold up your end of the agreement ---you were not at all professional in your communication. You ignored all of my communication for 4 months.

We hired Michelle Frehsee in May of 2022 to photograph our wedding on September 10th 2022. She showed up, did her job and left. Our contract reads that images will be ready within 6 weeks of the wedding. We are now, almost a year out without any photos or contact from Michelle. I have tried messaging her multiple times via text, email, and letters. She has yet to reply to any of my messages.Customer response
