      04/12/2024

      I am responding to this case for the general manager who is on vacation until next week. The customer took delivery of the vehicle on 2/28/2024 and brought vehicle back to have the rest of work recommended before delivery completed and was completed on 3/5/2024 and , including a Vermont state inspection(invoice attached with all the work performed on vehicle before returning vehicle to customer). Customer brought vehicle back on 3/20/2024 for a noise concern and we could not confirm any safety concern with vehicle, so we offered to bring to ***** dealership in *****, ** to pay the dealership to road test and inspection for any abnormal concerns and none found(receipt attached). We also could perform a New Hampshire inspection, as the vehicle has to be registered in ************* and fees paid and then customer can bring for a state inspection.

      It has been 20 days since we last saw vehicle and 28 days since taking delivery and customer contacted dealership by text and stated "Soooo did you guys know my alternator and battery were ****, cuz I found out the hard way when my van stopped dead on the high way this morning? Just wondering."

      One of our advisors did respond to her and let her know, we would not be able to predict if an alternator was going to fail, but when we inspected vehicle before purchase, and when we performed other repairs and the 28 days since taking delivery, the alternator was working properly.

      I am going to try to reach out to customer today to see if she has had vehicle repaired or what the status of the vehicle is.

      If you have any questions, feel free to email back or call me directly at the dealership at *************

      Sincerely,

      ************************;

      Brattleboro Subaru advertises on the website that they do not charge over ****. I looked at a new EV yesterday and the salesperson gave me the **** ***** and gave me the document. I returned to have my car evaluated for trade-in and the "manager" (I never met or saw) told the sales person the car is available $5000.00 over ****. Again- sales person gave me documentation. Many EVs will not qualify for the $7500 rebate starting January 1 - so if this can't be resolved in ***** hours I will not be able to purchase the vehicle. I can live with that. I think there are laws that protect consumers from this kind of behavior (bait and switch?). I appreciate any assistance you can provide.*************************

      Tell us why here...

       Hello *****, I just left you a voicemail but figured I'd send you a quick email here as well in case that's more convenient for you.  First of all, Happy New Year and thank you for visiting with *** and considering a new Subaru Solterra. Our GM, ****, brought your BBB complaint to my attention so I was hoping to connect with you to:
      A.) Apologize for the misconception B.) Discuss your interest and C.) Discuss our proposed resolution.
         I won't go into too many details, but the discrepancy with pricing appears to be a simple matter of when the cars arrived, when we re-priced them,and when our website provider updated our pricing and banner. I apologize that you were caught in the middle of this. While we can't control the federal tax incentives, we can honor our prior pricing at $100 off MSRP for you.  You can reach me here via email,right here in the showroom, or at ************.

      Thank you again your interest and feedback, *****!
