      Because the ***** location doesn't have its own page, I'm going to share about both locations at once. (Same owner) I was going to the Burlington location during the pandemic and shortly thereafter for waxes. I have PCOS ******* for further details), but they always made me feel comfortable about it and I always tipped accordingly. This weekend I'm in ***** on a staycation. I'm having a massage, nails, and a few other things done at a full spa in the area, but I specifically chose Mirror Mirror for the wax because the always made me feel comfortable. In short, my appointment was for 12:45 Saturday. They called on the day of to say they saw my note about PCOS, so I don't qualify for the normal 15 minute appointment. I haven't had this happen at the Burlington location, but I said that's totally fine I just need it to get done. She said they would have to move my appointment more than an hour+ later. I had other stuff to do so I declined and told them to cancel. I'm already self conscious enough about my medical issues without this kind of singling out. Furthermore, you call me an hour and a half before to tell me this when I booked three days ago???? Extremely unprofessional and demeaning and I will not be back. I know to stick with threading from now on. Additionally, keep in mind: after a tip I pay about $80 each time. Tuh. What a joke. After a few minutes I called back to say that I felt the way they handled the situation was unprofessional. **** thought she put me on hold, but didnt. I could hear her speaking to manager **** who told her to take my information down because she doesnt want to deal with it right now. I notified **** I heard everything and I wouldnt accept her response. I sat on the phone for 15 minutes as they passed the phone around to different floor people. I refused to speak to them. Finally **** gets on the phone to tell me I was lying. Luckily I record everything. This is disgraceful. I hope the owners fire everyone involved.

      The language the customer used with our staff was was enough to have me refuse all future service to the this client. We too have the entire conversation recorded in which she told ***** whom is a new 18 year old employee and another staff member that both of their mothers where c**** and feel sorry for them for having given birth to them. Also telling **** that she was going to lose her job for not knowing how to use a phone she had never used before that day. The customer was unbelievably irate, when all we where trying to do was make sure she had enough time for her appointment. She booked a 15 min wax, then in the comments noted she might need more time than usual. I would encourage the BBB agent to contact me directly to review the audio and interaction as I have the entire encounter on film and audio. The customer cancelled the appointment then called back to scream at the staff. This person is not allowed to step foot in my store again after this, I would again suggest reaching out before posting this review. I am sorry for writing inappropriate language, but this was repeated over and over to one of the kindest humans I have had work for me.

      I dont care to comment further because this case will need a non-bias mediator for further action. I will see to it that we get that. To the no longer allowed rhetoric: you act as if I would want to spend another dime supporting this farcical faade of a spa. Please, off your horse just long enough to listen. My only goal is to ensure this staff does not discriminate against people with my/other disabilities/syndromes/etc in the future. Clearly, as the owner tries to escape the responsibility of training their staff to handle customers with empathy, a mediator is needed. Until that time, I recommend everyone read the other complaint on BBB and check other rating sites. You will notice a consistent stream of complaints of Mirror Mirror up-charging for no substantiated reasons. You will also notice the owner never takes responsibility for the businesss action nor the staffs. There are plenty of good spas in *******, its a vacation state. Spend your money elsewhere.
