    Dispatcher/owner ***** is unbelievably rude, a liar and unprofessional. I booked a reservation to and from my house is *****, VT to ******** on the Hill - a restaurant 10 minutes away. The driver, Mo, was on time and pleasant. It was his first night working at Blazer. We had an issue with our reservation and I called Mo and he came back and took us to another restaurant in ************. He also gave us a ride back after dinner - all good.He dropped us off at 10:15pm. When I made the reservation, ***** had quoted me $56/each way, which I said was fine. Mo didn't say anything about a fare or asked for a credit card, so I figured they had it on file. Long story short - ***** called the Police and told them "I refused to pay". The Police showed up - they knew me and asked me to call Blazer and get it cleared up. I did, but it was not easy coming up with the $170 in cash to pay the fare ***** told me I owed - wasn't gonna drive to ATM after drinking at dinner. Bottom line: *****/Blazer lied to the Police. I did NOT refuse to pay. I have a text from the driver ****************************** off that says, "Hey not sure what's going on. **** said I was supposed to apparently collect the fee". **** was rude and inconsiderate to me on the phone. His text earlier in the day said NOTHING about cash only. He took no accountability for his drivers mistake and most importantly ruined the rest my night and unnecessarily stressed me so I couldn't sleep that night. There was another complaint on Yelp from a customer who said ***** sent the Police to his work after being dropped off. Again, for "refusing to pay". This guy didn't know about cash only policy and didn't have the $80 + tip in cash. The driver corroborated his claim to the police that the customer did not refuse to pay. This business owner ***** is AWFUL. The BBB should investigate and close him down. He gives VT and Burlington businesses a bad reputation - especially with tourists.
