I placed an order with this company (BBQ restaurant) on 5/18/23. I purchased 2 tickets for the Grilling Class with Chef *******. June 25th 4-6pm for my brother and boyfriend. The day of this class I called to make sure the class was still happening and to ask about the process of getting into this class as it was a gift to my boyfriend and brother and I would not be attending, I received the confirmation email so I wanted to know how they would get into the class and if they needed any information. At this time, the chef came on the phone to tell me the class was canceled and that they were short staffed. He asked if I wanted a refund or if I wanted to reschedule. My boyfriend is a surgical resident and barely gets time off so I opted for the refund not knowing when the next class would be. This all happened June 25th. I have been messaging with the owner since then on FB messenger asking for a refund and he keeps telling me he will look into it but it has not happened yet. I have attached our messages
