Perfect temp did the plumbing on a large scale home renovation in ******, **. The two brother's of the owner spent 13 weeks here roughing in the plumbing on a ************** **** Sq FT home. Based on numerous resources, this should have taken 3-4 weeks. The owner even admitted that to me and took time off of the **** when I called him out on it. There are countless examples of poor quality work that they did that I have had to pay other plumbers to correct. The owner also admitted to me that he should have been on site managing his people, but he was renovating his own investment property at another location. Part of my renovation was to install frost free hydrants around my property. When we went to turn them one, they did not work. I went back to ***- the owner to ask for him to fix the issue. He said they had nothing to do with them and that it was the people doing the site work and excavating that put them in. Here is the exact quote from the email: ******** was the contractor that dug the trenches, ran water lines and buried them." So said they didn't put them in. However, on one of their invoices, this is what they charged me $7565 for: "Labor to continue plumbing in house, installing blocking &/or framing for fixtures & sinks, finished rough-in for entry bath, powder ************* bath, temporary water for the main house, assisted with well/water lines to and from the house & assisted with water hydrants for chicken coops. Removal of old ************** as of 11/13/21." If they did not put them in, then why did they charge me for them? I'd like a check mailed to me for $7565 and I will leave all of the other pathetic stuff that I have had to correct alone. If not, I will take this as far as I need to. It's not the money, it's the fact that they try to take advantage of people and their work is terrible.

The complaint is about frost free hydrants that were installed at a job site my company was doing the plumbing for.  The complainant sent an email to my office asking for assistance finding the split (tee) in the water line for the hydrants.  My office responded and kindly let him know that we did not dig the trenches, run the lines or bury them and that they should contact the contractor that did do that work.  Yes, my invoice does say that we ASSISTED with the water hydrants but nowhere does it say that we dug the trenches, ran the water lines or buried them.  Our 2 technicians that were there did exactly what the invoice says they did, they ASSISTED.  They provided the contractor with the proper tools needed to connect the hydrants, gave them fittings/parts that they didnt have to do the job & took time to show them how to use the tools they were lending them.  Our invoice is NOT charging $7565.00 for just assisting with the hydrants.  That was a small portion of what the technicians did for the days that this billing cycle is for.  They did NOT spend days ASSISTING with hydrants.

      Thank You,

Perfect Temp is a terrible company.  ***y are poorly managed and their plumbers do low quality work.  I had a 100K+ plumbing job and it is VERY apparent that they cut corners and did not take pride in their work.  Since I filed my last complaint, we have had numerous gas leaks because of their lack of attention to detail and failure to follow simple gas line installation protocols.  My gas provider came to my house to diagnose the leak situation and they found numerous failures at junctions in the black iron piping junctions.  *** gas provider said "it is good you fired them because they cut every corner and spared every expense when they ran these lines."  ***y put the lines in less than 9 months ago and they are already failing.  This is a safety issue for my family and I now have to pay a reputable plumber more money to fix these mistakes.  *** plumbers that were on my job were *** Stridesberg's half brothers-***** and *************************.  ***y both smoked about 2 packs of cigarettes a day and always smelled like alcohol.  Not just alcohol from the night before, but also alcohol from that lunch.  ************ should lose their license to install gas lines.  I want this report to be accessible to the public for the safety of families in VT.  *** always showed up to talk to me about the **** that I called him out for over charging me on, he also always reduced the ****.  One time he took 80 hours off of the **** because he knew his brothers were inept and that he was trying to opportunistically take advantage of me.  He even told me this was the first job these two had EVER done on their own and that he had been renovating his own investment property in Morrisville and that he should have been at my project more regularly.  This is the 7th home renovation I've done(3rd in VT)-I know what things should cost.  He was so far out of wack and he knew it.  Avoid Perfect temp at all cost.  *** will tell you what you want to hear, offer a low price, send inept employees and then try to rip you off.  I want *** Stridesberg to pay me back $7565 for the water lines and then I will go away.  If not, I have a legal team that will pull all of the over billing, fraudulent billing, low quality work, gas leaks, revision work expenses and wasted time into the suit.  I am happy to go that route and will find time to make this happen.  Bad people have bad things coming to them.  I have also placed complaints with the attorney generals office and I'm just getting started.
