On 08/02/2023, the customer-signed warranty is 50% of parts and 50% of the labor for 30 days/1,000 miles, whichever comes first; systems covered engine and transmission only.  However, the customer did not inform us of this until 10/3/23.  They had already purchased the tires and possibly the battery at that time.  Nevertheless, we would have helped them out with tires.  When we discussed the matter, the customer was contentious, which made communication extremely difficult.

      Thank you for your time.

**** ****** will not return the $5,000 I put down on a $7,000 car . When we originally started negotiations, I was pre approved through west lake financial services. **** did not want to work with west lake so he said he would find me a lender. He was not able to do so and after a month of being pushed around and ignored I finally stated that I would like a refund because he could not complete his end of the agreement. I singed a purchase agreement that’s only legally binding if I agreed and singed any financing forms, which I have not. **** states that he can not give me a Refund because he “paid his taxes” he states that I will have to take him to court. I have all of the paper work supporting that the actions he has made are Illegal. I am entitled to my refund because it is my currency. This is not how you conduct business.

The customer states that he was was pre-approved at Westlake.  A pre-approval is not an approval. Westlake did not approve him for the full amount.   We then offered the customer a BHPH financial agreement.  Jelley's Auto Sales was willing to  hold the loan for 13 months with a monthly payment of $201.69.  The customer refused.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.  **** did not want to work with west lake because they believed that the vehicle was overpriced. Westlake went by the Kelly blue book value which is a fair assessment of the vehicle. **** did offer me a 13 month payment option on the vehicle but I did not want to pay what he was asking. We talked on the phone and he originally came down to $150.00 a month, I went to his place of business and he decided that he was gonna raise the price back to $201.00 without discussing this action with me. $201.00 is more then I am able to afford a month considering I just gave **** ****** $5000.00 down on a 7000.00 vehicle. The purchase agreement states that if I do not agree to the the financing agreement then the purchase agreement is not legally binding and I’m entitled to be reimbursed the $5000.00 down payment. **** has also dragged this issue on for over a month a car buying process is supposed to be enjoyable and working with **** ****** was the complete opposite. He avoids phone calls. **** is a terrible man to do business with.
