            On 8/27/21, we contracted with Green Excavating/*********************** to perform driveway repair work. Per the terms of the contract, we paid a deposit of $3,933.33 via check at the time of scheduling. Work was to begin within 2 weeks after August 27, or within 3 weeks in the event of bad weather.No work at all was performed for 6 weeks. At the end of 6 weeks, on 10/08/21, we terminated the contract based on the contractor failing to meet the scheduling commitment. We requested a refund for our deposit. We received a response that day from the contractor stating that he would begin working on a refund.We have received no further response from the contractor since that date, despite multiple communications asking for a status. We are seeking help to recover the deposit that we paid on work that was not fulfilled.

            Absolutely terrible experience in July 2020, so bad that we won a judgment against him in ** court in November 2020 and as of April 2022 were still trying to get our money back. Hired *********************** to remove old concrete and pour new concrete around our pool. What was supposed to be a 2-week job turned into a three month nightmare: our yard and two fences were damaged, and the sides of our inground pool were left exposed for weeks. Our property was a wreck and inadequately secured after the fences came down. ****** did almost no work during this time, showing up for a few hours then disappearing for days and weeks with a never ending string of personal, work, and health excuses. The last straw was when he tried to get more money from us despite an entire summer with no progress madethats when we fired him. He refused to return the money we had paid him so we had to take him to court. Protect your money and your property: do not hire *********************** or his company Green Excavating of ******** *******.
